Purple Fountain Courtyard Inn

Loved the place, it has a homey feel to it. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff are warm and friendly but service has a curfew of until 9 pm only. Food is not readily available though. Out of the 6 items in the breakfast menu only 2 are available.

Terrible food

I am at the Purple Fountain Inn now with my family. The place is very cute, the staff is wonderful and the breakfast that we had this morning was very good. <br/>However there is no running water most of the time. You wake, no water. You go out for a day of adventure and come back dirty and tired, no running water. Can”t shower. Most of the time that we need water, there is none. This fact should be part of the advertisement. They should tell you that you will not have water before you book. Instead you have to ask for bucket and cups to shower when they should provide them when you arrive, because they know that you will not have water. There are better places to spend your money.

The airport pickup service was friendly. The room was clean, had air conditioning and a TV (which I didn't use), but it was strange that there was no power outlet near the lamp. The simple room also had a clean and nice recliner. The bathroom lighting wasn't very bright (but it shouldn't be a problem for most people; it was a bit dark for women applying makeup). The water pressure was average, not too weak but not very strong either, and the temperature could be adjusted. This was the accommodation package without breakfast. I stayed here for two days, and the biggest drawback was that there was a bar next door that was noisy from evening until 2-3 am... A minor advantage was that you could go to the bar to listen to music, and there was also a massage parlor nearby.

My 3rd stay in 6 months. I think I've stayed in 4 of their different rooms now. All are clean and well kept. More than that, they are thoughtfully designed and decorated, much nicer than you usually get at this price range.
