What a disappointment! Upon arriving on the island, we went to this hotel to book a room for that same evening. The person who greeted us quoted a price of 1000 baht, which we paid. After making a phone call, we were told it would actually be 1500 baht per night! She claimed it was that price because it was the Full Moon Party. Yet the Full Moon Party was only five days away! We had to get angry and point out her dishonesty to get an apology, even without a refund. We finally decided to stay there since she refused to reimburse us... So beware of this hotel's elaborate scams; make sure you check the dates of the Full Moon Party so you don't fall for it!

Nice owners and quiet location near the beach. Everything was good. Only thing: the room had no airconditioning, which we thought was too hot. Felt like a sauna 24/7. Be prepared for that if you choose the rooms without ac.

By far my worst stay in my 2 years of traveling south east Asia, room was warmer than outside, full of bugs, and no Aircon for 30€.

We stayed at the hotel for five days. The initial impression is unpleasant, because the houses are stuffy, but smell disappears after airing. You can't get here directly, a tuk tuk won't pass through the dirt road. You can walk 5min from town. The cottages are simple, with good facilities, fans, air conditioning, kettle and refrigerator. A small terrace provides shade in front of the cottage. The cottages are far from noisy pubs, it is relatively quiet. It takes maybe 10 minutes to walk to Haad Rin beach. The road uphill to the cottage is challenging! Every morning we were visited by monkeys, fortunately not harmful. It is not allowed to feed them. Everything is rewarded by a spectacular view of the bay!

We stayed 7 nights in this hotel. It's not really a hotel, but independent cabins in the jungle. We booked a sea view room. I recommend it because the view is amazing. Remember, we're in the jungle, so you'll be visited by monkeys who come to the balconies to see if you've left anything. The only thing I recommend is renting a scooter because there's a dirt road uphill from the hotel to the beach, which isn't very comfortable. The guy will take you there. Renting one is 500 baht a day, which is a good price. There's a taxi service, though, and we were comfortable with the motorbike. There are a few steps to get to the cabins where you'll sleep, but you're surrounded by nature. The room is standard, with a comfortable bed. You're close to the most beautiful beaches. As soon as you get off the bus, there's a 7/11 that's always open. The staff is friendly, and they have a bar and restaurant service from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. They don't clean the room, but if you want it cleaned, you have to ask; it's written in the rules as soon as you enter. Overall, we had a good time.

Beautiful cozy place! Even though is up the hill it takes literally 3min to the sea where there's amazing food options! Also just 10min walk away from the center of haad rin so it's close still but far enough of the mess. If I could recommend something would be to bring earplugs if you're staying in room 303 or higher, as sound travels up, the music from the party hotel next door can be clearly heard and it's bad 2000s radio music 🤣

WE stayed in the Appartments on the hill, IT was amazing Marie and I enjoyed it sooo much at your place! Krab khun krab!! WE can only recommend IT! Even some Monkeys cam3 to this place, Just dont Feed them Close to your Home, or Else they will Camp infront of your House,beware they are greedy

We stayed here for four days, and our first room smelled so strongly of mold that we wanted to check out. We were then given a different room, and because they were so kind and polite, we stayed. Nevertheless, it has to be said that the heat and humidity were extremely trapped in the room; it was almost unbearable. Therefore, the value for money was absolutely terrible… We now have a bungalow on the beach for almost half the price with air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a refrigerator…

Noisy and not very clean hotel. Easy access to the beach, but difficult to reach the hotel by scooter via the main road. Noisy and useless fan. For a one-night stay, it's sufficient, especially considering the really poor value for money.

We stayed for the full moon party on haad rin beach. The hotel is difficult to get to as the drivers do not want to drop you off at the hotel due to the dirt road to get to the hotel. But we learned that you can arrange with the hotel for a pickup as they have a vehicle available. The rooms are on the side of a hill so prepare yourself for the climb up the stairs 😂. The rooms do not come with water bottles or coffee so for the price it is a bit disappointing. The view from the rooms on the upper level is great as you can see quite far. If you want a place close to the beach this hotel is perfectly situated.

A very beautiful, well-maintained bungalow complex on the hillside. My room, at the very top, had a fantastic view over the bay. Everything was very clean and well-kept. The bathroom was good by Thai standards. The staff was extremely helpful. The only downside was that you could faintly hear the music from the beach bar until about 2:00 a.m. But that doesn't usually bother the people who come to Haad Rin. 🤪

Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are very basic, but they have a gorgeous view of the beach and two islands. Staff is very friendly and happy to help. It was nice to be so close to the Full Moon Party but not be blasted by the music at the hotel. Road to the hotel is rutted mud - easier to head up via the path at the end of the beach IMO. It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and another 5-10 to the main part of town via the beach. If you enjoy being a bit off-scene among the jungle and monkeys and enjoy "Old Thailand" basic accommodations, this is for you. Thanks again to the friendly staff. I'd totally stay here again.
