Central Hotel & Spa

The hotel was clean and the service was enthusiastic, but not very professional.

I chose the cheapest room, but it was still very clean. The staff were very enthusiastic and happy to check me in early. The room had a bright window that let in plenty of sunlight, and the pool had a view of the Dragon Bridge, although the water wasn't very clear.

On the last day of my trip... I tried to make a last-minute reservation for a 0.5-night stay in the morning, but everything was fully booked, so I booked this place because it seemed like the best option available! My flight was at 1 AM, but it was delayed to 2 AM, so I booked this place to rest before heading back. The location is just a little bit away from the city center, but it was fine to walk to Han Market (I recommend taking a Grab if it's hot), and since most of the guests were Westerners rather than Koreans, it was quiet and nice! The cafe right in front has a great atmosphere too~!☕️ The bedding was clean, and although the water pressure seemed a bit weak, I was satisfied with it as a place to stay for a short while🙂

The hotel room smelled terrible, and the service counter staff were awful. They say it's cheap, but the room without a window smelled so bad (like cheap perfume) that it was hard to even sit there for 10 minutes! It seems unlikely you could even get a free room. Unfortunately, I couldn't take any photos. The hotel photos look completely different in person.

A very good hotel. Spacious rooms and elegant colonial decor. Great breakfast. Fantastic service.
