The food was very good, but unfortunately the kitchen can't seem to make the oyster mushroom schnitzel vegan, even though there are plenty of good methods for breading it. The old way of serving it in a basket was also nicer.

My wife chose this restaurant during our city trip to Vienna. We arrived about half an hour before our reservation, which wasn't a problem at all. We were greeted very warmly and shown to our table. We both ordered a Strawberry Daiquiri, which was expertly mixed and tasted delicious. For my main course, I had the fried bread dumplings with chanterelle cream sauce, and my wife had the oyster mushroom schnitzel. We were both absolutely thrilled; the taste and texture of both dishes were fantastic. My wife has been a vegetarian for over seven years for ethical reasons and was delighted because the oyster mushroom schnitzel tasted just like a "real" schnitzel. All in all, this is a restaurant that should be on every visitor's list for this beautiful city.

Highly recommended! The food at WRENKH is fantastic, the atmosphere is lovely – but we especially want to commend Marcel. We've rarely experienced such attentive, warm, and yet pleasantly uncomplicated service. He's incredibly friendly, always present without being intrusive, and you can tell that he truly cares about his guests. Thank you, Marcel, for the wonderful service and the thoroughly enjoyable evening. This is what true hospitality feels like. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing, which we hadn't expected. We had the set menu, and after the first course, we were very optimistic – the fennel with a sauce reminiscent of Tom Kha and the buckwheat salad were delicious (though olives would have been a welcome addition to the bread course). Perhaps the contrast with the subsequent courses was more pronounced. The pimentos were okay (a bit bland, nothing special), the artichokes were good but didn't quite harmonize with the mint and basil, the mustard seeds on the pickled gherkins seemed more for show than flavor, and the fried carrot fritters were just carrot and oil. The bread dumplings with chanterelles were very good again, but the pakoras were disappointing: the dough was only partially sticky, unsalted, and bland – sadly, not a celebration of good vegetables. These weren't very good. All in all, it was clear from some of the dishes that the kitchen is really good, but unfortunately the concept of the menu seemed more like the other dishes were just there to fill a quota. Next time I'll order à la carte.

The staff was lovely and the decor very pretty, but the food was really disappointing. I was excited about the mushroom schnitzel but it was extremely bland, the only thing that saved the dish was the accompanying lemon mayonnaise. I don't mind paying good money for vegan food, but I didn't think that was worth the price.

Delicious food. The service was incredibly friendly. A bit pricey, unfortunately, but what else could you do?
