Centrum Hotel

I had a very unpleasant experience at Centrum Hotel and would not recommend it. I entered the hotel and was immediately confronted by a tall male staff member at the front desk who gruffly asked what my business was there. The tone was not polite, helpful, or professional. It felt accusatory from the first moment. I asked whether the hotel served coffee or lunch. Instead of giving a courteous answer, I was rudely turned away and told that there was “no coffee, nothing” and that everything was only for hotel guests. Even if that is the hotel’s policy, there is a normal and respectful way to explain it. This was not that. The interaction made the hotel feel cold, hostile, and unwelcoming. I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply asked whether food or coffee was available, and the response was abrupt and dismissive. Good hospitality is not only about rooms and location. It is also about how people are treated when they walk through the door. Based on my experience, the reception staff at this hotel failed badly on that basic standard. I would not choose to stay here or recommend it to others. If this is how visitors are treated at the front desk, it raises serious concerns about the overall service culture of the hotel.

A very good hotel located right in the city center, perfect for exploring the city and walking to all the must-see sights. Good facilities, a good breakfast, and friendly, professional staff. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the rooms and bathrooms are a bit small.

A perfectly decent hotel if you don't expect too much. The location is really great, just a few minutes from the city center or the train station.

Excellent Choice for a Stay in Nicosia This hotel enjoys an excellent central location, within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and the city's main attractions. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff were always helpful, professional, and friendly, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was good, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes. Overall, this is a great hotel that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Nicosia.

Located near Platia Eleftheria on the edge of the old town, not directly accessible by car or bus. Nevertheless, it's in a great location, with all the main sights within walking distance, as well as numerous bars and restaurants. The rooms are a good size, with a large bathroom, and everything is spotless and very clean. The food in the cozy hotel restaurant is excellent. There's a generous breakfast buffet with freshly prepared eggs. The service is super friendly.

Fantastic choice in central Lefkosia - perfect location right in the city centre, very professional management/staff, great breakfast, and a beautiful, comfortable room easily meeting four-star standards. Loved it and would stay here anytime again.
