MOB Hotel Lyon Confluence

Disappointed this time (after many stays here) Airconditioning did not cool room - corridors were cooler!!! Let staff know on check in but nothing was done!!! Expensive mistake

Not smack in the center, but location is by the river and rooms are nice.

We regularly stay here as a stopover on our road trip and always find it very pleasant, cozy, and comfortable. It is also very child-friendly.

We spent one night there, it was perfect!

An innovative concept with good value for money; we'll be back.

Nice hotel, just something a bit different for a change..

An ideal hotel for a stopover, as you are back on the highway in no time. Personally, we don't think the price-quality ratio is quite right. The minimalist concept is fun, though. However, some storage space or a small fridge wouldn't have gone amiss, under the desk for example. The kettle is also quite useless; you simply have to pay for a coffee even though you have booked a room. The bed and pillows were mediocre for me, though my wife was happy. The surroundings, on the other hand, do offer an evening of entertainment. As far as we are concerned, it's nice for a one-time visit.

Just checked out of this hotel we stayed one night and checked in late yesterday. Upon arrival we didnt know there was no secure parking at the hotel and had to waste a lot of time getting in and out of another car park 10 mins away. The rooms are all design but no convenience no practicality and no TV. Worst of all the toilets are weird with glass doors for the shower and toilet seat through which you can see everything. Also our room was on the 1st floor with a lot of noise from ppl sitting outside as there is an open terrace on the first floor outside the rooms. But the absolute worst was the staff behaviour at this hotel even while checking in we didnt feel a "welcoming attitude" but on checkout i asked for a 10-15 min extra time as we had wasted half the morning to get our car out of the secure parking far away and had a bad night sleep too - so when I requested politely for 10-15 mins extra the staff member first said No and wanted to charge extra money for such a small extension and then she hesitatingly allowed it but was extremely rude about the whole thing. This has become a common issue in france - many workers are very very rude people they do not smile they dont treat guests (especially foreign guests) nicely and have a major attitude problem , at least 5 out of 10 french people are like this and one needs to point it out to such people otherwise they would never be trained correcrly or know how to treat others. At this hotel I felt very bad the way she treated me and would never ever go to any MOB hotel again. This sort of rudeness will not take them very far and even if they didnt want to give me extra 15 mins they could explain it in a nicer polite way - not the way she snapped at me and treated me. In the end we checked out 12 on the dot and didnt take the extra 15 mins because I was really upset with such nasty attitude. I debated whether i should post this review or not but its high time such hotels fix their staff training and don't tolerate rudeness especially towards foreign guests, we are paying a lot to be here and appreciate your country - showing us a little courtesy goes a long way, i wss only asking for 10-15 mins extra not 2 hours,such a petty place.
