First of all, it's a fairly small place, very warm and welcoming, with truly excellent service. The server who looked after us had the approach of a sommelier, yet remained very down-to-earth and approachable. He took the time to chat with us, offer advice, and explain things. Really lovely. The food was excellent. And when I say excellent, I mean it. I particularly recommend the mushrooms. It's not necessarily the dish you'd expect, but we're still talking about them because they were so well done. Simply perfect. Overall, especially for the price, I felt we got to try a lot of different things. Everything was fresh, original, and very well executed. The ceviche was also excellent. The wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. The only minor point I could mention concerns the Margarita, which I found a little too sweet. It could have used a bit more character, more tequila, and perhaps a touch more salt. But that's really a minor point. We had a great time. The concept is interesting, the atmosphere pleasant, and we'll definitely be back. Special mention also goes to the meat in the arepa, lightly smoked and absolutely delicious.

I'm so happy to see today that my grandmother's (Aunt Lina's) restaurant, now called Canaima, still exists and hasn't closed down. I can still picture my grandmother behind the restaurant ❤, but even more beautiful.

As a regular at this superb establishment, I had the pleasure of discovering their new menu, and I loved it! It features a wonderful selection of generous and flavorful dishes perfect for sharing. This new menu truly offers something for everyone! As a vegetarian, I was delighted to discover so many options, each more delicious than the last. Special mention also goes to the cocktails, which are excellent, with a particular favorite being their new coriander creation 😍 As always, the service is impeccable and the experience is truly exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!
