La Champmeslé, the city’s longest‑running lesbian bar, has been a low‑key fixture on Rue Chabanais since the late‑1970s. Tucked between the Palais‑Royal and the Bourse, the tiny room lets you see the whole crowd from the bar. Most nights the space fills with women; gay men and their friends drift in, but the vibe is unmistakably a women‑first one. Cabaret acts and impromptu singing sessions pepper the schedule, while the walls double as a rotating gallery of queer art. Doors open at 15:00 Monday through Saturday. Weekdays it stays open until 03:00; on Fridays and Saturdays it pushes to 05:00. Sundays it’s shut. Drinks are cheap enough that a round won’t break the bank. Just outside the Marais, the bar is a few minutes’ walk from both Pyramides and Bourse metro stations, making a quick hop after work effortless.
