The Westin Grand, berlin

The Westin is in a great location. It's a shame that it's an older building and doesn't have a club lounge. However, it's a good hotel because it's clean and well-maintained. The room was inconvenient because the living room and bedroom were far apart. Layout is important when traveling.

The room was okay, apart from a rotten water pipe by the sink, which is simply unacceptable in a hotel that claims to be something special based on its prices. I found the staff to be dedicated and courteous. The breakfast is nothing special, and the breakfast room has all the charm of a train station waiting room. I can only advise against the supposedly amazing valet parking service. You get your car back damaged. Even worse, they even try to cover it up (someone was messing around with the damage). Unfortunately, it worked until the next day because I didn't notice it when I returned the car. I reported the damage, and after four weeks, I finally received a response from the insurance company saying they wouldn't cover it. In my opinion, that's outrageous, and as you can read here, it's unfortunately not an isolated incident. Anyone who treats their guests like this will never see me again!

I can recommend this hotel to everyone.

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located at the crossroads of Unter Den Linden and Fredrichkstrasser. Staff was very helpful and attentive. They even allowed late check out (at 15:00) with no extra charge. Gym is modest and no pool.
