Café November, aperto dal 1993, è uno dei locali più storici di Prenzlauer Berg, un caffè e ristorante gay-friendly che sembra più un'istituzione di quartiere che una meta turistica.
Ci si va per gustare piatti tedeschi e austriaci – schnitzel, Königsberger Klopse, Matjesfilet – ma il menu include anche specialità italiane e mediterranee. È il posto ideale per fare colazione, pranzo o una cena anticipata.
L'atmosfera cambia durante il giorno. Al mattino è un caffè tranquillo. Di sera, si trasforma in un bar, attirando un pubblico prevalentemente maschile gay, anche se tutti sono i benvenuti. L'interno è classico, un po' accogliente in stile old-school; i posti a sedere all'esterno sono piacevoli quando il tempo è bello. Si trova in una strada tranquilla, un'opzione più rilassata rispetto ad alcuni locali della vita notturna gay più vivace di Berlin.
Trent'anni fa, quando aprì, era più apertamente un bar gay. Oggi, è semplicemente un luogo confortevole e senza pretese per i viaggiatori LGBTQ+ (e chiunque altro) per mangiare e bere. A true gem! One of my all-time favorite restaurants. Since my very first visit in October 2022, it has never once disappointed me. It’s one of those rare places that keeps you coming back again and again. The fish is always impeccable, the quality is consistently outstanding. Whenever someone asks for a recommendation, this is one of the first places that comes to mind because I know it will never let them down. I also absolutely love the seasonal menu changes, this keeps things fresh, exciting and always give me a reason to return. Thank you for maintaining such an incredible standard over the years. Wishing the entire team nothing but continued success and growth!!! ❤️
The tuna sashimi is a must！sooooo good
We chose this restaurant based on a Michelin Guide recommendation. It was a bullseye! The food was very refined and prepared with exceptionally fresh ingredients. The "raw" appetizers are especially recommended for fish and seafood lovers. The meal was perfectly complemented by an exceptional wine (2014 Felseneck GG Riesling) recommended by the very charming and knowledgeable waitress. The Michelin Guide should consider awarding it a star.
I am not a big fancy eater and am not even a general sushi lover, but I freaking LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!! I was there the second time yesterday with my fiancée, and every single dish we have tried blew our mind. I can only recommend to try new things as much as possible or share dishes in a group. With two people, we ordered 7 dishes with only one main course and it was sufficient. Not cheap but worth every cent!!
