Really friendly service, a very good veal schnitzel, delicious lemon tart, and the Muscatel from Baden was also delightful 🙂 Oh yes: it's dog-friendly there too.
Sooo, First of all, the food was, I have to admit, truly fantastic. The menu might seem a bit complicated at first glance, but if you look at it for a while, it's quite well-structured. But it's about the food and the experience, and so it's a wonderful place where I could immerse myself in their dishes with great appetite and in a good mood. Unfortunately, it only gets 4 stars because the price is a bit too high. The food is okay, but the drinks are definitely too expensive, especially considering they're mixed with a lot of ice cubes.
The food is delicious, and despite being in a tourist hotspot, the quality is excellent. Even I, a native Berliner, enjoy eating there. I'm deducting one star for the inconsistent service. Some of the new staff members are a bit inattentive.
A serendipitous discovery while searching for a late lunch spot on a Saturday, and an absolute gem. A lovely, cozy, long-established restaurant; we were drawn in by the mention of modern German cuisine and Berlin specialties. Very friendly and attentive service. My companions ordered asparagus dishes and were full of praise, with the Frankfurt Green Sauce being a particular highlight for me, as I'm from Hesse. I had calf's liver, Berlin style, which was cooked to perfection and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Next time I'm in Berlin, I'll gladly return. The extensive wine list alone has piqued my interest.
It was okay. The drinks were more expensive than usual and contained very little.
A very nice restaurant… I've been there several times recently, most recently with a large group. The service is attentive and friendly. Something went wrong with one meal, but it was handled with humor (even by us) and resolved smoothly. That's exactly how it should be. All in all, it was a lovely evening, and I'll gladly return. I would describe the cuisine as home-style cooking and seasonal. The menu changes regularly!
