Nordic Embassies Canteen

I was at an exhibition in this building. Impressive architecture, bright and airy, a small café with a sheltered outdoor area, and a restaurant for lunch. A lovely place to escape the hustle and bustle of Berlin for a bit.

Good food, a fish dish every day

Great events, great exhibitions, but annoying security checks.

Very tasty and inexpensive food, especially fish, from Monday to Friday, 1-3 pm.

Fantastic canteen! Attentive service, delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices, and friendly people. It's hard to believe it actually exists.

Since I love fish, I chose the canteen at the Northern Embassies. The fish dish was delicious, and the employee serving the food was friendly. The point deduction is for the cashier. The website states that payment by debit card is accepted. The employee refused and said he needed cash. Only after I pointed out the payment instructions on the website did he reluctantly activate the card reader via tablet, and I was able to pay by card. The canteen is actually quite nice, but this will be my first and last visit. Even as an external guest, no one should have to put up with an unfriendly employee.
