Innside by Meliá Dresden

The hotel is located right next to the Frauenkirche and within walking distance of most other sights. The exceptionally friendly staff more than compensates for the shortcomings in the room (the seal on the shower head wasn't watertight, so water sprayed everywhere, the shower door seal was loose, and the carpet was stained). The concept of the transparent sliding doors in the bathroom is something you have to appreciate.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very centrally located, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. We will definitely come back.

Top hotel, very friendly staff, the room was modern, new and very well furnished. This hotel is one of the best Melia hotels for me, and I've stayed in several of the chain.

The hotel's location is excellent, there's no denying that. The room was very large, another plus. The staff is generally friendly, and the breakfast buffet is quite good. Now for the downsides and the reasons why I wouldn't stay here again and unfortunately can't recommend this hotel: - Room cleanliness: Okay, but not great. There were small bits of dirt in the sink, and the fixtures weren't cleaned properly. - Faulty AC: It displayed 20 degrees Celsius and was quite noisy. The room never got below 23.5°C, and the air was stuffy. And this was in April, with nighttime temperatures around 5°C. So, I slept with the French doors open. - Parking: Yes, there is a secure underground garage. Parking spaces for longer cars are a bit tricky because they're stacked, but manageable. WARNING: Pigeons and other animals nest in the garage. Unfortunately, I only noticed after check-out that the entire car was covered in pigeon droppings, and there were also animal tracks on the roof. Charging €30 for that is simply outrageous. Had I noticed it beforehand, I would have mentioned it at check-out. With car cleaning, you quickly end up paying €60 for parking. This doesn't seem to be an uncommon problem; there were flying insects, rattling noises coming from the ventilation system, and various feathers in the rear parking spaces. -The high-pile carpet: It smelled rather unpleasant and is also a terrible idea in a hotel. One person walks across it in street shoes, the next comes out of the shower barefoot, and in between, you can't even mop the carpet like a hardwood floor? Absolutely unacceptable. I had actually planned to use the spa and wellness area on the morning of my departure, but the cleanliness of the room completely put me off. A shame. The Meliá in Düsseldorf was in better condition.

If you're going to Dresden, then INNSiDE Dresden is the place to be! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent service around the clock! We had a fantastic girls' weekend at INNSiDE Dresden. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and incredibly helpful at any time of day or night. No matter what we needed, we were immediately assisted with a smile. Located right next to the old town, the INNSIDE Dresden offers guests solid, business-like accommodation. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the king-size bed, in particular, provides a comfortable night's sleep. A minibar is included and offers well-chilled drinks. However, the breakfast is a drawback, being a very standard buffet with little choice. Furthermore, the hotel's underground parking garage is unsuitable for larger vehicles and makes maneuvering a real challenge, especially since parking is done on double-decker platforms. The very friendly staff, however, redeems the hotel's overall rating.

The hotel's location is perfect. You're right in the old town. The Frauenkirche is just around the corner. The Semperoper and Zwinger are a few minutes' walk away. There's a restaurant and a café just around the corner. Our room, number 100, was clean, quiet, and spacious. The minibar was stocked with complimentary drinks, and there was a small coffee machine. There's an underground parking garage, but it's not suitable for larger cars; the spaces are very narrow, and since they're equipped with lifts, they're not designed for long vehicles. There aren't many parking spaces. Breakfast was standard.

Ideal location for our city break to Dresden over Pentecost weekend. A beautifully designed hotel with spacious rooms, a delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. We had a room facing the courtyard, which was very quiet. We highly recommend the Innside.
