Metropol

The Metropol offers delicious food and drinks. The Hessian tapas are highly recommended, and the hand cheese ravioli are also excellent. The staff are very friendly, but it always takes a little while to place your first order, hence only 4 out of 5 stars in this category. It's also great that smoking isn't allowed, even outside. Nothing is more annoying than a thoughtless smoker at the next table when you're trying to enjoy your meal.

I stumbled upon the Metropol by chance and will definitely be back soon. I felt incredibly comfortable. Very friendly service, great atmosphere, good coffee – perfect. The food at the neighboring tables looks so delicious that I'll eat there next time too.

For 20 years, I've gone here for breakfast whenever I visit Frankfurt. The food was and still is excellent! The portions have decreased, but that's probably due to the current state of the world. However, the play area doesn't deserve the name. A few broken books and shabby things, no crayons. A real shame. On top of that, a large group was seated in the corner, making it impossible to access. Today, it wasn't even half full, and we waited a whole (!!!) hour for a simple toasted sandwich. Even our child's food didn't arrive any sooner. No attempt to make amends, no apology. They even charged us for the baby chinos. A real shame.

Homemade lemonades are simply perfect! I can't comment on the food.

Massive cappuchino and bird chirps

Nice location but poor service... We wouldn't come here again.

I've been there a few times now. The food is excellent quality. Good value for money – there are more expensive places in Frankfurt. Many vegan dishes on the new menu. Friendly service staff who always try their best, even if there are only two people on duty. The decor isn't super modern, but overall it has a cozy atmosphere.
