YORS Hotel Hannover

The worst hotel I've stayed in in years. Mold in the shower, rust on the door frames, missing or loose silicone sealant. Dirt. Visible foreign hairs in the sink area. Unfortunately, there were also vermin (silverfish) crawling all over the walls and towels. Disgusting. Run-down and neglected. Not for sensitive hotel guests. I feel sorry for the hotel staff who depend on their jobs, and this feedback is directed more at the owner. See photos.

And there's parking for three or four cars. They shouldn't have mentioned it. It's practically impossible to find a spot there.

Very friendly ladies at reception. Nicely furnished. The room is very clean. We are satisfied.

Unfortunately, the location isn't great. The room was okay. Unfortunately, there were frequent emergency vehicle sirens blaring at night, which isn't surprising given the area.

I've stayed here twice already. The price is right. The service staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean. It's centrally located near the main train station. You won't find anything better in the immediate vicinity, I promise. There's always a free coffee in the morning. There's also a snack vending machine with reasonable prices, which isn't always a given in a hotel. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

This is our fifth consecutive Christmas stay here. The hotel is showing its age. It still offers good value for money, but it needs some improvements. The breakfast was fantastic! Upgrade: We returned in December 2025 after the takeover. With the exception of the friendly and helpful staff, the hotel has deteriorated under the new management. The staff deserve 5 stars! Based on what we experienced, I wouldn't give the management any stars. Whether we'll return after this weekend is questionable!
