An acquaintance had given us his room and the hotel had both confirmed the change of name. We, new customers taking over the acquaintance, had even received the booking confirmation with the code. The same evening we discovered that the hotel had reassigned the room to the first tourist, who had changed his mind and therefore had cancelled the reservation without notifying us and above all without questioning us. What happened is unacceptable for a five-star hotel and above all it is very serious that the hotel acquires information about third parties without contacting the person concerned Totale unorofessional and unrescpectful!!!

We stayed for 3 nights hotel in great location clean room but with outdated shower taps, impossible to sleep with the balcony open because of noise from air conditioners, major flaw lacked the kettle and a support table. National TV only. Average price

Not knowing things and situations in advance, I booked a 3-day distribution at this particular hotel. I admit I should have figured it out but it didn't occur to me… the hotel is used by the locals as a half board hotel!!! Those who do not go for this purpose better not attempt it. Firstly, you will not have peace all night from the moaning in the surrounding rooms. Secondly there is no breakfast room 🤯 apparently because most tenants leave after 1-2 hours. Thirdly, it doesn't have a parking lot and everything around is expensive since it's downtown. Fourth, the cleanliness is equivalent to the use I mentioned above. Even though I had pre-paid my stay, I left on the second day and ended up in a normal hotel to rest.

Location was great! Reception staff terrible! Not a greeting, smile or lovely attitude on any of them!! Shower , the worst, too bloody hot and so old it wouldn’t turn down. Shower door, screamed blue murder everytime we opened or closed . Floor boards creaked, pity poor people underneath us. Air con didn’t work, room hit and stuffy with doors closed but air conditioning in outside too noisy to have doors open. Bed comfy but Average hotel at best!

2 days trip to Thessaloniki and we chose Andromeda for our accommodation. Excellent spot, near to everything, the staff was more than welcoming and helpful and the most important -the cleanliness of the rooms was 10/10. Thanks guys we will get back soon.

We booked five nights at The Andromeda based on facilities listed here and on their website, which we should have checked prior to booking. The ‘spa’ is no longer in use and it seems it hadn’t been much before it closed. There was no bar, restaurant, or separate seating area. Our small room would have been more bearable had these facilities existed as per the listings. However, the hotel is in an excellent position in the centre, the receptionist was friendly, and they had a lovely, cute ginger cat. The room and hotel itself are somewhat dated and would benefit from a refurb. If you want something reasonably priced without facilities in a central location, then book - if you’re looking for more, don’t.

Locations of the hotel is good. Management is good. Price is high but it’s a matter of demand and fielder. The rooftop restaurant and cafe is good. Few thing to complain but not that major. Team working there somehow very responsible and takes care to solve any matter.

The hotel has prime location - few minutes walk to all main attractions, a lot of good restaurants within 3-6 minutes walk. The room was big with a little "strange" design (black walls, a lot of mirrors, black & gold wallpaper). The bathroom has a bathtub instead of a shower - the bathtub was high and very slippery - might be dangerous especially for older quests - better to install a shower instead. Also, there is no breakfast at the hotel, although the hotel sites lists an option of a continental breakfast. The reception team was polite, some of them has poor english.

The hotel is literally in the city centre. The decoration of the room was great! Also, the room was very clean and the staff very polite! I wish I had the time to stay longer. I would definitely go back.

The decoration is amazingly kitsch. But what is worse is the service. We arrived with our car and there were three free places in front of the entrance reserved for the hotel. It was 10.30 pm and asked the receptionist if I could leave the car to unload the baggage, go to the room and then go park it. She said that this was impossible. We had booked for one night and we were asked to settle the account upon arrival --something i have not encountered before. We said they could keep a copy of the credit card as a guarantee but they were insistent that we pay upfront. It was an exceptionally hot day and there was no air condition in the room. The receptionist said that the air-condition is central and when it is hot it cannot perform!! The following day when we were leaving I brought the car from the garage to park it in front of the hotel in order to load the baggage. All three places were taken and, another receptionist that morning, said that he could not move the cars because they belonged to hotel clients and to his boss!! I felt so disappointed for the Greek tourist product. Such untrained and indifferent staff, and such poor quality.
