Hotel Regina Margherita

that was a very disappointing hotel experience. four stars? it’s hard to understand how this rating is justified — perhaps because of some artwork in the lobby. the room was quite small, with no minibar and no balcony. the hairdryer didn’t work and there was no shampoo. the view from the window was directly onto air-conditioning units, which made the stay even less pleasant. furthermore, it was quite noisy. for the breakfast, we had to wait 5 min for a clean plate. there was also no ost milk. i suffer from strong back pain in the mornings and need about 15 minutes of exercise to manage it. since there was not enough space in the room, i asked the reception if there was any alternative, such as a rooftop, terrace or gym. unfortunately, they were unable to offer any solution. instead, i was told to come back in a year, when they might have built a terrace — not exactly helpful. the hotel also advertises a spa, but it was closed during our stay, which was another disappointment. i‘ll defenetively not come back. also not in a year, when the terrace should be built!

Every room is well-furnished and, above all, clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, both at reception and in the breakfast room. The location is also ideal for those interested in strolling through the city center.

First time visitor to Cagliari but most definitely will return. Location is ideal as it's within walking distance to the main parts of the town. Plus for our longer day trips there is a bus stop outside and the other was a few minutes away at the marina. Staff were all very friendly and professional and throughout our stay. The hotel was immaculately clean throughout and the breakfast was delicious each morning with a good variety. The only downside was the bed was a bit too hard buts that's a personal opinion. The pilli s were also very flat again it's just personal. But far more positives for this hotel and would recommend.

I went there to attend a course in one of their rooms with a projector, nice place, clean air conditioned, clean bathrooms and bar and restaurant service.
