This hotel was really bad. The shower had only hot water no cold water. The maintenance guy was not available until next morning. We did travel from California to Florence. We couldn’t take a shower. They couldn’t change our room because the hotel was packed. I opened the linen to sleep, the mattress was full of hair. I got the hold of receptionist. He changed the linen and he slept until next morning. The maintenance guy fix the shower and then after that we took a shower. This hotel is not a forest hotel and it’s not even close to 2 star I didn’t Book this Hotel The travel agent did ,I’m going back and I will let her know never book this hotel for anyone else to experience these nonsense.

Very run-down rooms, questionable cleanliness.

A very mixed review... The hotel's location is undoubtedly its strongest point, as are the size and cleanliness of the luxury rooms. As for the rest... Everything has already been said in previous reviews. Borghese Palace Art Hotel, please make an effort, or rather, completely overhaul the breakfast; it's mediocre.

I ended up in this dump by mistake. After checking out of another property, my girlfriend wasn't feeling well, and we decided to stay another night in Florence. I booked this property, if you will, because it had 4 stars. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to change hotels due to my girlfriend's condition. I will be sure to contact the regional and municipal administrative offices to address her inconvenience. When I first arrived, the shared elevator was already inhumanly dirty. The rooms are in a state of disrepair, and I can't wait to write a review. It's unacceptable even for a 2-star hotel; besides being rundown, cleanliness and hygiene should be a priority. The sink only has one cold water tap. The breakfast was called "Nass" (the Nass breakfast). Hard-boiled eggs were green and had a seriously foul odor. The sliced salami was black, the bresaola was tough and black and green and always had a nauseating odor. The breakfast service was unfriendly and unprofessional. The cheese was always stale, a few slices of Emmental cheese. The cakes were described as homemade but definitely made with pre-made ingredients. The breakfast room floors and tables were extremely dirty. Coffee was only available from the coffee machine! This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel in the center of Florence; it's mostly called a Palace. Not to mention the mosquitoes. We didn't sleep all night because they bit us.

Very "old", tired rooms, TV sockets not working, and the breakfast is so sad (old cold cuts covered in cellophane, no freshly made eggs like in all 4-star hotels).
