A must-see for anyone passing through Trieste!

The service and food were spectacular at all times. As visitors, they welcomed us and advised us on everything. The food was a 10/10, and the service was phenomenal. They tried to speak to us in both English and Spanish. I would definitely return.

The food was very good, however there was a bit of a limited selection. The service was good and very fast.

Very pleasant place with air conditioning. The staff, especially the very friendly waitress, explained everything very well and in Spanish. The food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Homemade food of very good quality. Some really interesting flavors for us, especially the main course. But the most outstanding thing was the service. We arrived around 3 pm and they had no problem serving us. If you're ever in Trieste, this place is highly recommended.

Highly recommended. An excellent blend of Italian and Slovenian cuisine. The jota and the Trieste-style spare ribs are excellent, as are the bread gnocchi. I wasn't thrilled with the plum gnocchi, but some people might like them. The place is a bit dark and dimly lit. Overall, a great experience.

This restaurant looks to be a converted tavern. Our server was great- suggested crostini and although we are not horseradish fans, it was delicious- crostini with a little horseradish and some local cheese which resembled cream cheese. We tried the dumplings with plum filling which is a local Trieste specialty - dense but tasty and the gnocchi with bolognese sauce but the crostini remained our favorite. They give you a complimentary limoncello at the end “to bring a smile to your face” as our server said.

A great experience!!! A well-maintained restaurant, very welcoming and knowledgeable staff, and excellent, traditional Trieste dishes, especially the plum gnocchi and chifeletti. A must-try!

I was warmly welcomed and kindly given recommendations by Vlad one of the servers. I ended up ordering the barcolana dish as I was quite hungry and I cannot recommend it enough. The pork ribs in a tomato and spiced sauce were rich and melted in your mouth. I highly recommend.
