EuroPride moves to a different European city every year, chosen by the European Pride Organisers Association. Turin won the 2027 edition on 2 November 2024 at the association's general assembly in Porto, beating Vilnius, Torremolinos and Gloucestershire with 53% of the vote. It is the first EuroPride in Italy since Rome in 2011. The bid leaned on protest: Italy has had civil unions since 2016 but no same-sex marriage, and the association's own announcement called the result a loud signal to the Italian government.
The dates are officially set for 18 to 26 June 2027. The plan is a week of meetings, cultural events, conferences and rights activism, ending with a parade through the centre of Turin. The local organizer is the Coordinamento Torino Pride. When we checked, the detailed programme, the parade route and the party lineup hadn't been published.
If you go, book early: Turin is a mid-sized city, and local press has compared the expected economic impact to the ATP Finals tennis. Late June there is usually hot, so plan for heat on the parade day. Milan is about an hour away by high-speed train, which makes it a workable overflow base. The 2026 Torino Pride gives a sense of the format: marchers gathered in Parco del Valentino, set off at 15:30 and ran through the centre via Via Po to Piazza Vittorio Veneto, with the official party at a club afterwards.
That 2026 Torino Pride, on 6 June, was the 20th, under the claim 'Venti di Lotte' (a pun on 'twenty years' and 'winds of struggle'). The organizers put the crowd at over 160,000, with 24 floats and about 50 groups, while pre-event forecasts had spoken of a few tens of thousands. That is the best indication so far of what EuroPride week could draw.
