Carnival Palace

Wow, what a wonderful hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming on arrival and throughout the stay. The room was clean, spacious and had an excellent view of the canal. The location was peaceful. Great breakfast options, with good quality coffee. Would highly recommend!

Transfer service was delayed due to our late flight, but the manager was very kind and helped make it up to us. Beautiful hotel, and nice staff. Thank you again Juri!

The bathroom in our room on the first floor smelled strongly of sewage. Additionally, one of the employees providing breakfast referred to me as Signora Cina. Referring to me this way because I look East Asian is highly offensive- if you are working in the tourism and hospitality industry you should know better.

Loved it. Great staff (thank you for the bar recommendations). Lovely rooms and location. Great value. Special surprise was the proximity to the Chabad House and the Jewish Ghetto. You should also let people know how easy it is to get their from the train station. Don't usually get to roll up to my hotel in a boat.

We stayed at Carnival Palace as the last leg our our Italy tour and it couldn't have been the most perfect ending to our trip! The walk from the train station wasn't long and the view was stunning. It was easy to get to places as there are two water bus stations nearby and we asked the hotel the arrange a water taxi for us to the airport on the day we check out with a morning flight. We will definitely be back someday!

Excellent location in Cannaregio, right next to the Tre Archi vaporetto stop. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were even able to book a taxi through the hotel via WhatsApp, and everything worked perfectly. The room's view of the canal is lovely. The breakfast service staff is very friendly, we received a warm welcome, and we felt very comfortable. I would book this hotel again anytime; the price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect.

We stayed for five nights in May. The hotel was fabulous. The morning breakfast was a highlight as were the servers at the breakfast. They were so kind and so helpful every morning. We ended up needing a private water taxi at 3:30 in the morning and the concierge at the front desk immediately took care of our request and was so helpful. The location is perfect. You can take a short walk to a fabulous restaurant or take a long walk to a fabulous restaurant! If you are arriving by train, it is a very easy 10 minute walk from the train station. If you’re arriving by boat there are several stops right in the canal out in front of the hotel.

Perhaps because it is on the first floor, the bathroom smells quite strongly. I requested odor removal twice, but the smell persisted. However, the breakfast was delicious, and the reception staff were very friendly. The location is a bit of a letdown, though.

Can’t say enough about this Hotel. I love the location , the staff are always accommodating, complimentary bottle of champagne when you arrive also it’s very affordable.
