Hotel Mistral St. Julian's, Affiliated by Meliá

We had a very pleasant experience staying at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always ready to assist us with a smile and quick to answer any questions we had. It’s rare to encounter such attentive service, which really added to our overall stay. The room was impeccably clean, everything was tidy and fresh upon arrival. The location of the accommodation is also a big advantage, as it is easily accessible and close to major attractions and public transport options. Overall, we were very satisfied and would gladly return in the future.

We visited from Australia and chose this hotel primarily for its excellent location in St Julian’s, which did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the positive aspects ended there. When we raised an issue with our room, the response from the general manager was extremely disappointing. Rather than listening and trying to resolve the concern, he came across as condescending and defensive. Good hospitality is built on respecting guests and taking feedback seriously, and this experience fell well short of that standard. It’s important to remember that without customers, there is no business. Guests should feel heard and valued, especially when something goes wrong. This was not the case during our stay. This experience did not reflect the level of service one would expect from Melia standards. If I were Melia, I would strongly consider reviewing customer service training at this property. Overall, while the location is great, the service left a lasting negative impression.

The hotel is very good! Considering its location, it’s incredible how quiet it is at night—everything is so close, yet there’s silence 😁 The service, cleanliness, everything is great!! ⭐⭐⭐

Pros: Overall, a fairly good quality and new property. Highly recommended. Friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness in the building and rooms, better than many four-star hotels. Good central location and good soundproofing. Outside noise isn't a problem. Cons: In the restaurant, a large insect scurries near the coffee machine. The bathroom fan is a sensor fan, very loud, and can't be turned off. It wakes up another person at night when they want to use it. Breakfast selection could be wider, lacking good bread. Scrambled eggs seem to be made from powder. Summary: A hotel worth recommending.

The hotel is perfect for a short stay. The room was clean and perfect for two people, although the bathroom was a bit small. I stayed from March 8th to March 11th. It's an ideal base for sightseeing and long walks. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The pool on the 10th floor was great; we were the only ones there. It's a perfect place for sunbathing and even swimming. I don't know what it's like in high season, but my stay was perfect. The staff was very, very polite and helpful. I highly recommend it.

The hotel staff was very helpful and kind,the location and view impeccable!The room was perfect for a couple and we had a lot of amenities like a heated pool and gym!Also the bathroom came with all kind of things,toothbrush,clean towels,hot water,razor blades,shampoo and washing gel.I was surprised and I loved that!Also you have a coffee machine besides the breakfast!10/10 stay☺️
