Hotel Alisios

Hotel Alisios has a great location right on the beach, excellent service, and professional staff. Breakfast is delicious and varied. Unfortunately, the rooms facing the street have a major drawback – traffic noise is audible both day and night, making the ocean practically inaudible. A comfortable night's sleep is practically impossible without the windows closed. Furthermore, the hotel has significant issues with keycards, which often malfunction. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended, primarily for its location, service, and atmosphere.

We had an amazing stay at hotel Alisios (again). We have been coming here for years now, with the main reason not being the great facilities, fantastic restaurant nor the location right on the beach, but foremost the fantastic staff that truly make you feel welcome. If people want to better understand how customer service should be done, this is where you can come experience it. This 4* hotel truly deserves the 5* review.

We stayed there for 10 days. The hotel is very nice. It's located right on the Atlantic coast and is about a 10-minute walk from the town of Albufeira. Our room had a great sea view but was relatively small. It was on the ground floor and quite dark, as the sun hardly came in, making it rather cold. There simply wasn't enough storage space in the bathroom, and there wasn't much room for clothes in the room either. But those are the only criticisms. The staff is very friendly, and the whole hotel exudes elegance. The hallways are furnished with high-quality furniture, exquisite decorations, and always fresh, beautiful bouquets of flowers. Breakfast is very good. The selection isn't huge, but everything is very fresh and beautifully presented. Dinner is a three-course meal. The fish dishes were very good, and the desserts were simply delicious and a feast for the eyes. Overall, we had a very nice holiday and can highly recommend the hotel. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the lovely little swimming pool. For almost all of our 10 days there, we had the place almost entirely to ourselves. It was a real pleasure to swim and relax there. Everything was spotlessly clean and well heated. Since we had some cool weather during the first few days in May, the warm indoor pool was just what we needed. The entire staff did a fantastic job. They were always very attentive, and everything was meticulously clean. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel, right on the beach, very well-maintained and clean. Great rooftop terrace with a fantastic view and excellent service. Very good staff throughout. We only had breakfast, which was very good for the size of the hotel. Two negative points: First, we booked a "land view" room. What we got was a view of the hotel wall 10 meters away. A blessing in disguise, it could have been worse, like the rooms opposite the breakfast room, where guests can admire you doing your morning exercises on the balcony while you're having breakfast. Second, on the day of our very early departure, we were given a packed lunch. It consisted of two slices of white bread with some cheese in between, an apple, and a carton of juice. This is unworthy of a 4-star hotel. In all the hotels we've stayed in so far, we've always received a small breakfast with coffee, even for very early departures.

Wonderful location right on the beach, very good breakfast. The staff deserves special mention; they were always friendly and helpful. True hosts! You don't find that often anymore.

We haven't experienced such a clean and passionately run hotel in a long time!!
