Jardim do Príncipe Real (Cruising)

The garden square at the centre of Príncipe Real — with its enormous 150-year-old cedar tree — doubles as a relaxed daytime and early-evening cruising spot, right in the middle of the gay quarter and a short walk from Trumps, Woof X and the São Marçal bars. It is a public, well-used park, so keep things discreet and respectful; it is more about eye contact and easy conversation than anything overt. Pleasant place to sit with a coffee and watch the neighbourhood go by.
