TWO Hotel Barcelona by Axel

We stayed at Axel Two for a week last week. It was a great hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They are always there for you and willing to think along with you about anything. A special thank you to Xavier; he helped us so often with questions and recommendations, and was always there for us with so much love, warmth, and friendliness. The room was super spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the pool and the rest of the rooftop terrace. Highly recommended!

I'll start with the best parts of the place: it's superbly located, welcoming, and has a very original internal communication style, with a great vibe that clearly conveys the message without being formal or boring. The colors make you feel like you're in a movie or an advertisement; I don't know how to explain it. They're not what you'd expect, but they really create a sense of well-being. The team is always cheerful and willing to help and assist. The different areas are very cohesive, and the pool area is always lively with guests coming and going. However, not everything is perfect, nor will it ever be. Let's consider a few points. First, for a gay hotel, you can't use a rectal shower because there's no showerhead or handheld shower next to the toilet. I find that quite strange. Then, the closets have little space for clothes or not enough hangers to hang them properly, which makes the room look more cluttered than I'd like: clothes on the chair, on the table, hanging on the TV... in short, closed closets or more hangers would help a lot. Finally, the minibar was extremely full and there was hardly any room to move things around to choose. A small detail, but a simple adjustment would make all the difference. Since I didn't see the condition of other rooms or facilities, I imagine this only applies to the unit I stayed in, but I would definitely return because of all the positive aspects I experienced there.

My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights, from Monday to Thursday. The hotel is very close to the Rocafort metro station, and a 1-minute walk from the exit will get you there. The hotel is LGBTQ-friendly and the ambiance is super refined. Our room was very nice, with a transparent glass shower, and the side and center mirrors are really cool. On the bedside table, you'll find two condoms, which is honestly a brilliant idea and I love them—so big! Haha. The hotel is for couples only, no kids—another huge plus. On the 7th floor, you'll find a swimming pool with loungers, a gym with two cable towers, a bench, and dumbbells up to 25kg. I managed to get a decent workout in, and there's also a Turkish bath. The breakfast is one of the best in the hotel I've ever been to; you'll find croissants, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheesecake, freshly squeezed juices, and fresh fruit—all truly amazing. They'll ask for your room number and then bring you whatever coffee or cappuccino you want. I really hope to return to one of your hotels in another city. You definitely nailed it here. Well done!

Staying at Hotel Axel Two was a fantastic experience in every way. The breakfast: Simply incredible. One of the best I've ever had in a hotel! There's an incredible variety of fresh products (I highly recommend their juices and cappuccino), both sweet and savory, all of the highest quality. The rooms: Beautiful, modern, and meticulously designed. What I loved most? They're full of fun details and surprises that make your stay unique and incredibly enjoyable. The gym: Great for staying in shape even while traveling. It has everything you need to stay in shape and get a good daily workout. The staff is super welcoming, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I'll definitely be back; highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing stay! The hotel is very clean, modern, and beautifully organized. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The breakfasts were delicious with a great variety of food every morning. We were pleasantly surprised by how much was included in the price — the facilities, wellness area, pool, and overall service exceeded our expectations. Small rooms not enough light to shave, no space to put down your things ie, tables or space for bathroom supplies, etc , pool cold, small , no view really either a yard , room smelled of cleaning for several hours to much detergent used . Boutique hotel !
