Playa de los Alamos Dunes

The classic outdoor cruising ground of the Costa del Sol runs along the dunes where Playa de los Alamos meets Playa de Guadalmar, continuing into the pine grove (los pinares) behind the beach on the Malaga side, near the golf course. It has decades of history and is busiest on summer evenings, in the late afternoon and in the hours after the clubs close. The area is isolated and sits under the airport flight path - go with a charged phone, leave valuables at home and be discreet. Nudism is common on this stretch, and the crowd skews a bit older than in the town clubs.
