Göksu Restoran - Nene Hatun

We went there out of curiosity and anticipation, having heard so much about its reputation. Unfortunately, despite all that anticipation, they gave us perhaps the worst experience. We sat down, placed our order, my wife's food arrived, but mine didn't. I had ordered lamb chops, and thinking it might take a little longer, we waited a bit longer and reminded the waiter. By then, 40 minutes had passed, my wife had finished her meal, and I still hadn't received mine. After a second reminder, it took another 15 minutes, a total of an hour, for my food to arrive. Clearly, they hadn't prepared it properly by then; it was hastily made, and the meat arrived bright red, undercooked. This time, we had enough and expressed our dissatisfaction. The waiter continued as if nothing had happened, completely unconcerned. We received no attention or compensation from the waiter. We would have left long ago, but since we were primarily curious about the soufflé, we tried that too before leaving. I will never go there again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Our experience started at 8 PM on August 8th and lasted roughly until 10 PM. We sat on the first floor, by the window on the sloping street side, with two children.

The atmosphere was wonderful. The food we ate was delicious. Mr. Talha, who took care of us, was so friendly and attentive that we wanted to thank him here as well. Thank you for everything 🙏

The ambiance is very pleasant and nostalgic. We were very pleased with the lighting, the table arrangements, and the service. We went on a weekday at lunchtime, so it was generally empty, but it's a good idea to make a reservation. It's a very suitable place for a fancy dinner or a romantic meal. There is parking available in front of the restaurant for guests, but it might be difficult to find a spot during busy times. The food, especially the appetizers, was quite delicious. The portions were very generous. The Cretan spread and pastrami hummus were the best we've ever had. The pide and lahmacun were also delicious. We ordered the soufflé last. Even though we ordered a single portion, two of us struggled to finish it. It's ordered with cream and sauce. It will delight chocolate lovers. There are many more dishes to try. We will definitely be back.

We had lamb tandoor and ribeye steak. The lamb tandoor was very filling and delicious. The appetizers and salads were very good and generously portioned. The soufflé was amazing! It's worth coming just for the soufflé alone. The place was very classy and gave you a special ambiance. Ms. Hazal gave us great guidance on our food choices. Her energy was extraordinary 😊 Thanks to them, we had a wonderful and special evening.

Everything was wonderful, from the atmosphere to the service. We especially want to thank Ms. Hazal, who took care of us; she was so kind and attentive. Thank you so much for everything!

My girlfriend and I went to Ankara for a lovely evening and we were really pleased. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. 😊 The staff's attention was also wonderful. Mr. Kemal, Mr. Hacı, and the lady whose name we didn't learn, who assisted us at the entrance, were very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. Mr. Hacı also took our photo, immortalizing a beautiful moment. We had a wonderful evening thanks to the food, the atmosphere, and the genuine care of the staff. Thank you to everyone involved, we will definitely be back.
