Carlton Hotel

Room not wonderful, but clean. Hot water in shower. Quiet neighborhood. Reasonably priced.

Different to our last stay some people up above our room Rely noisy went out about midnight ish came back in then had a taxi about 1.30 making row outside in street but otherwise Rooms facilities spot on

The room I was in was stuffy and made me sneeze a lot throughout the night and the spring bed was uncomfortable. The service though was top-notch.

Great hotel. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfy. The service is really good. Nice free parking for a town centre hotel. Iv stayed a few times and I will stay again.

My fourth time staying here. Excellent value, family run independent budget hotel. Spotlessly clean. Warm welcome as always from owners. Easy walking distance to football ground and two excellent local pubs (greyhound and arbor house) and town centre. Free parking outside an added bonus (other ‘budget’ hotels ie travel lodge and premier inn in town charge for parking) Microwave and tea and coffee facilities in rooms, plus a breakfast bag with porridge pot, croissant and fruit juice provided at check in for the following morning.
