Mount Pleasant Hotel

Really lovely welcoming staff, and location convenient for access to Oxford. Room was very clean, but a little noisy at night due to location 😊

This is a small inn on the edge of an adorable town with adequate amenities. Important: the rooms are on the second floor and this is an old building, so there is no elevator. My room was spacious, well-arranged, and comfortable, with everything I needed: electric kettle and cups/glasses. The shower was awesome!

Absolutely wonderful. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, they give towels, a fridge, tea and coffee, a small kettle and a convenient bathroom. They also have a Desi style restaurant which I would highly recommend. The food is good, especially the garlic naan bread and Bombay potatoes. It is also very close to oxford brookes uni and a hospital by 6-10 minutes. Tesco and sainsbury are also nearby.

Close (10 minutes walk) to John Radcliffe Hospital. Situated above an Indian restaurant, so evening meals are sorted if you like a curry. Not the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. Shower alternates between hot & cold. Room was cleaned (rubbish emtied, and bed changed) just once, in almost 2 weeks.

Friendly service,but also poorly, the room is not great, as is the location. There is a hospital nearby , the amblancncrs wake you up in the middle of the night. The best thing is th small Indian restaurant downstairs.

Booked a room here last minute before a wedding! It was a solid room that did the job and it takes around 20 mins to get into the centre! Staff were kind, room was clean and it was easy to navigate! On my second night I returned back to the room without my keys and the owner came to my recuse at 2am! Absolute legend!

Perfect, nice clean room and en suite, fridge, kettle and TV, all you need for a ood nights stay. Bus stop is a 2 minute walk away and 10 minutes ride into the heart of Oxford. Hotel owner lovely and friendly.

We stayed while a family member was in the hospital. It was perfect. We were able to walk back and forth to the hospital easily. Great food locally.

Good well priced hotel. Clean comfortable room. Free parking at the rear. On the ground floor is a good Indian restaurant. Great service all round.

The owner is rude and unprofessional, atleast the rooms are okay however the bathroom is a bit on the smaller side. Food is unenjoyable and bland. About the owner as I was packing my stuff to leave the owner was banging on my door and said he would barge in if I didn't hurry up this shocked me. It's an ok hotel with an alright location with a terrible reception and owner, would NOT recommend.

This place is a fraud - it's not the building down on the web site. Comfortable bed, clean and adequate bathroom, friendly reception but inadequate heating.
