THE PLACE IN THE WORLD!

The place was dreamy, the staff's attention impeccable, it's a shame we couldn't rest as we wanted because when we arrived, the owners, along with their children and minor grandchildren, were staying there on the same dates, occupying all the common areas and preventing other guests from enjoying themselves. To make matters worse, there were very young children running around, shouting, crying, and playing with all their toys in these spaces. We went on a retreat with adult friends, and encountering this was disappointing, especially considering the price they charge per night (triple room USD 450). The lodge has 8 rooms, and I truly believe that if the owners want to enjoy their lodge, they should block the rooms for guests on the dates they visit and have the entire place to themselves without disturbing those of us who paid to rest, as there were more than 10 of them. Furthermore, the women were rude or simply didn't know how to behave, because when we greeted them, they didn't return our greetings. It was disrespectful to us guests. What's more, while we were in our room changing, the kids were running around on the deck outside our room, yelling that there were strangers in the rooms. Anyway, to sum it up, the place was lovely, the food delicious, and the staff—cleaning, manager, kitchen, waiter, and maintenance—were all excellent. It's a shame about the owners because they made us feel like we were trespassing. I definitely wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it for a relaxing stay. Date: Easter Week, April 2026

The scenery was beautiful and the place was dreamy. It's a shame that just when we went to relax and unwind with two friends, the only facilities (and there aren't many) were occupied without any prior notice, especially with children... screaming and crying all the time!

The place is beautiful, the location dreamy, and the staff's attention was EXCELLENT. Unfortunately, right during Holy Week (April 2026), when we went with some adult friends for a retreat, we found ourselves in a situation where the owners (more than 10 people) were there with their children and grandchildren, including very young children (babies). I, who don't have children, went to relax in a place where all I expected to hear was the beautiful nature surrounding it. Instead, we had to listen to the children running, shouting, crying, and occupying all the common areas (of which there aren't many). In other words, we barely enjoyed the spaces. We spent most of our time in the room, where the children also appeared on the deck upstairs, where they had no business being. We couldn't even have any privacy since they were playing right in front of our room and shouting that there were strangers there, and no adult said a word to them. Honestly, I don't recommend it for a relaxing getaway. As a suggestion, I would tell the owners that if they intend to use their facilities, they should close their guest rooms on those dates. They made us feel like we were trespassing, even though we weren't given anything for free, and the nightly rate (triple room USD 450) was anything but cheap, especially considering all the issues we faced. I must also mention the rudeness of the owners, or at least the women, who never greeted us and were completely unfriendly and unkind to the guests who, I repeat, paid USD 450 per night. The only positive aspect was the excellent service, courtesy, and helpfulness of the staff, from the kitchen and waiters to the cleaning and maintenance teams. I do not recommend it. It's expensive, and the owners are uncooperative.
