Hotel Iguatemi

Tryp São Paulo Iguatemi is a solid four‑star choice in Itaim Bibi, offering the basics plus a convenient base for exploring the city’s bar scene. The rooms are unpretentious but functional: air‑conditioning, cable TV, a minibar, a work desk and 24‑hour room service. You won’t find frills, but you won’t be missing anything you need either. An outdoor pool looks out over the skyline, and the hotel adds a spa and a modest fitness centre. Breakfast comes as a buffet, so you can grab a coffee and a pastry before heading out. Itaim Bibi itself is packed with restaurants and bars, so a quick walk can fill an evening. The main gay nightlife clusters around Rua Frei Caneca and Largo do Arouche, just a short taxi ride away. Google scores it 4.4 from almost 2,000 reviews, reflecting steady, if not spectacular, satisfaction.
