Asociación Silueta X

Asociación Silueta X is Ecuador's leading trans and LGBTIQ+ rights organisation, headquartered in Guayaquil. Founded in 2006 and legally constituted in 2010, it is led by activist Diane Rodríguez, the country's first openly transgender national assembly member. The organisation campaigns for legal gender recognition, healthcare access and anti-violence protections, and opened Guayaquil's first trans community dining room and Ecuador's first trans memory museum. It is a key community resource and contact point for LGBTIQ+ visitors and residents in the city.
