Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza Hotel

Excellent service from the staff at the spa. They provide two towels and a robe per person. They also lend you a padlock for your locker. Shirley is an excellent massage therapist. The women's changing room bathroom has a hairdryer and a hair straightener, and the showers have shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap. The facilities are spotless. The pool is fantastic, and the jacuzzi next to it is wonderful.

The hotel was very noisy; the windows creaked constantly, you could hear everything in the hallways and other rooms. The cleaning products had an extremely strong smell, and they sprayed perfume on the bed linens (a nightmare for people with allergies). The indoor jacuzzi wasn't working, and using the outdoor one would give you pneumonia (due to the cold weather). The casino had machines that jammed and malfunctioned (and one particular attendant was very rude, confronting customers instead of resolving problems amicably, even when she was wrong). Plus, there were patrons who tried to scam guests. We had a terrible experience! And the price is exorbitant for what they offer!! Finally, the breakfast was mediocre, with cold, doughy bread. I won't be back and I don't recommend it! And from what I've seen in the reviews, they send the same standard message in all cases. In other words, they don't take criticism seriously. With this kind of attitude, they're unlikely to think about improving!
