Glendenning Hall

I was told it is available to rent early June to nearly end of August. The cost is low, the dorm aren't big. Each room has air conditionner. Available fridge, oven and microwave. But you must borrow at the entrance if you need to cook anything on that oven, because there is nothing in the kitchen to cook. The staff is super friendly too. There is only 2 chairs for the table. There is a huge parking lot at the front of the building. Downtown ain't too far too. The beds are double and do the job. For breakfast, there is bagels, toasts, yogourts, cereals, fruits, juices, boiled eggs and coffee. From 6h30 to 10hoo. So if you are on a budget this is the place you got to rent.

Very good place to stay in Charlottetown

Not far from the city center, quiet, reasonably priced — just a bit noisy at night due to the air conditioner. The space for breakfast is not big enough.

It's actually student housing at Holland College. My room was number 108, two rooms, each with a double bed, clean and tidy. There's a kitchen, fully equipped with a refrigerator and stove; you can ask the staff if you need anything. Breakfast wasn't extensive, but it was sufficient. There's a parking lot across the street, and a self-service car wash nearby. However, because of its location near the road, traffic noise was a bit disruptive. If you can book a room away from the road, it's definitely worth staying a few more nights.

It’s a college dorm, so it lacks many amenities one normally expects at a hotel. Fortunately it is commensurately inexpensive. Our room had 2 separate bedrooms and a small kitchen, though there were no cooking supplies or dishes so it would have been difficult to take advantage of the kitchen, had we stayed long enough to do this. It’s within walking distance of the Charlottetown downtown so the location is very good.

Economical accommodation very close to city center. We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment. The furnishings are spartan and dated, but overall very clean. Each bedroom has a double bed and a window-type air-conditioner. Our room is on the main level facing the street so it's a little noisy (earplugs helped). The kitchen has all the appliances but nothing to cook and eat with. You can borrow a kitchen box with dishes, utensils and a frying pan from the reception. There is a dining table with 2 chairs. No sofa in the apartment but there is a common lounge room. Breakfast is rather basic (bagels, white bread, cereals, yogurts, some fruits, and coffee). The breakfast area is small and gets crowded. Free parking provided in the lot across the street.

Good ambience only double bed is available and 2 pillows in a bed! Hhmmm

Friendly and helpful staff. This is a college residence hall with space and good size kitchenette. Convenient and walking distance to many town sites. Very clean. Only 4 star for service because I felt the continental breakfast was a little limited for selections. Only "everything" bagels, cheerios and fruit loops (not a fan of those). They did have some fresh fruit which was nice. If we were staying longer the kitchenette wouild be a real plus.

Economical choice! Two bedrooms and kitchenette.Worn but clean. Excellent free parking and close to most everything

On the plus side: 2 bedroom suite was spotless and bed was comfortable. But, it was not worth $180. Outdoor safety light so bright that I woke up at 2 thinking it was morning. Shower is barely above body temp. And no bedside lamps.
