Best karaoke ever!!!

Fun but the cups are soapy, the drinks taste very bad. I enjoyed the night but the drinks made me sick. I did try to talk to the manager about the cups tasting like soap but it was futile.

Great karaoke bar, as previous reviews have mentioned, tips are demanded by staff for all orders (even just a bottled beer). Other patrons (clearly friends of the bar staff) are sat by the terminal and tell them exactly what tip amount you select. If you don’t tip enough on your first drink, you also get ignored/incorrect/bad pour drinks for the rest of the night. Good atmosphere, genuinely terrible staff.

I'm so disappointed. Four years ago, my friends and I used to go to this neighborhood karaoke bar to sing classic French songs in a welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere. We'd taken the trouble to reserve a booth two months prior for one of our friends' bachelorette parties, hoping to sing along with the other patrons and our group of friends, just like four years ago. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely cold and discriminatory. We were barely able to sing any of the songs we'd chosen, as they were systematically skipped from the repertoire in favor of big American hits specifically designed to appeal to a certain segment of the audience. Even within our group, who had reserved a table two months in advance and ordered a bottle of gin and several drinks throughout the evening, some people suggested songs and were NEVER allowed to sing them. This is unacceptable. We will never return to this bar, which, frankly, has lost all its soul. La DJ était d’une indicible condescendance, c’en est révoltant.

We had booked for 15 people for a bachelorette party, having been customers for several years. But Date has literally lost its soul. The thing is, in a bar, customers talk to each other, and imagine our surprise to learn that if you don't tip your DJ $20-30—or buy alcoholic drinks—there's no chance she'll play your song. We stayed for over 5 hours, and not even half the people in our group got a chance to sing—while several other customers sang multiple times in a row. A group of young comedians/influencers (a gang of straight guys, by the way) arrived and were able to sing loads of songs, almost one after the other, while we—who had been there for hours—couldn't sing. Very cute, the little extra income—under the table—that your DJ makes. We were good customers (bottled wine, several pitchers, we spent a LOT at your establishment that evening), but since we didn't pay your DJ, we couldn't sing. This DJ is the most condescending and cold person I've ever met. And to think she represents your business… The village is supposed to be a safe space, and your bar is the complete opposite. There's no way we'll ever set foot in there again…
