L'Euguélionne is a co-operative feminist bookshop on Rue Beaudry in Montreal's Gay Village. Its shelves cover feminism, queer and trans studies, anti-racism, fiction and graphic novels in both French and English, plus zines and small-press titles. It also hosts launches, readings and discussion evenings. The name comes from Louky Bersianik's 1976 Québécois feminist novel. It is a block or two from Sainte-Catherine Street, so it fits easily into an afternoon in the Village. Staff are happy to recommend local queer writers, and it is a good place to find Québécois titles you won't see elsewhere.

Lovely little bilingual bookshop I keep coming back to for its sociopolitical, feminist, and gender and sexuality books. I appreciate the up-to-date Palestinian poetry and non-fiction books written by Palestinians in Gaza. The shop also has a nice area where you can sit and read for a bit. There are plenty of zines, art, magazines, pins/stickers, and even a used books section too.
