Clean rooms, old-style furniture and not the most comfortable bathroom setup. The breakfast was disappointing, and we’re not picky eaters. Boiled eggs ran out at 9 AM and weren’t replenished. I just had a coffee, which wasn’t great either. On the bright side, both evening and night reception staff, and cleaning staff were lovely.

Hotel overall: Good. Great value for money. You don't pay much, but you don't get nothing either. Small residential area, but close to major roads. I would go back. Reception: The reception staff were pleasant, multilingual, and efficient. There were 8-10 of us, and the woman was managing 4 at the same time. Okay, the decor is dated, with a slight Greco-Roman influence, and the carpets are worn, but it's not dirty. The shelves aren't dusty, the pamphlets are recent… it's just stuck in the 80s. Room: Double room with French doors; we loved the concept. Clean room. Laminate flooring. Pleasant temperature. Air conditioning available (not used; April). The furniture is dated but sturdy. Comfortable mattress. Blackout curtains. Hot (very hot) water quickly. No ventilation in the bathroom… so humidity and odors must circulate in the room. Adequate soundproofing: you can barely hear the sounds of your neighbors (you can hear someone snoring) but not clearly hear their conversations. The same applies to the hallway and parking lot. Breakfast: Located in the basement. Access with a room key. Continental breakfast. The room can accommodate approximately 40 people. A good variety of food and sufficient quantities of equipment: bagels, muffins, croissants, 3 coffee makers, 4 juice boxes, cereal, fruit, 2 toasters. Two staff members are present for refilling and cleaning. It opens at 6:00 AM and closes at 10:00 AM; we arrived at 9:00 AM and there was still plenty of food available. Indoor pool: Located in the basement, accessible only with a room key. Clean and at a comfortable temperature. Gradual steps in addition to ladders to facilitate entry. A broken access ramp was noted and reported. Lounge chairs and upright chairs are available. Separate men's and women's changing rooms, each with about fifteen small lockers (1 cubic foot) (bring your own padlock). We appreciate that it closes at 11 pm! The signage to the pool could be improved; it's a bit of a maze downstairs, and it's confusing with the staff access doors, the locked restrooms, and the dead ends. Outdoor parking: Free, and plenty of it, which I hope is sufficient, but we had to circle the area twice to find a spot. Bar: Small bar with about ten seats and a limited beer selection. Slot machines are also present. Update June 2026: This is our second stay here. We came last year and wrote a long, detailed review, giving it 4/5 stars. The parking is still adequate. Breakfast was plentiful again, with bagels, two types of muffins, eggs, etc. We didn't have time to try the pool this time, so I don't know if they've fixed the pool entrance (which had been reported). The room was clean, as was the bedding. The water was incredibly hot and heated quickly. But I must admit that the bathroom was neglected and poorly maintained. The ceiling is suffering from the lack of ventilation. Personally, I think it's excellent value for money, with double rooms, a pool, and breakfast included.

Pictures online are deceiving. Much darker and gloomier than displayed on website. Rooms adequate for those who don't care about strands of hairs or stains on the beds. Shower curtains once wet, smelled like it hadn't dried well. Staff were helpful however when management was contacted, their lack of responsiveness forced us to stay longer than we wanted. The self serve breakfast was simple but adequate.

Update/response to the proprietor: (Initial review below) First of all, the moto parking spot doesn't accomodate up to 7 or 8 motorcycles, especially big models like Harley Davidsons or average models like Ducati super sports. Maybe a couple of scooters, but that's it. This parking spot is also useless because the part that is just beside a normal one (car size) prevent a potential driver to open his doors and can damage a motorcycle parked there by said car doors. And the rest of the space is right in front of an emergency exit, which is illegal by the way. Second of all, this moto parking spot is not there for (the comfort) of bikers, that's not what you said when I confronted you when you tried to move my bike without my permission for a second time. Which is another lie. You said it was because there's not enough parking spaces for all the clients with cars, a logic that I can understand. The only thing that wasn't professional at all is the way you handled the situation. The reception employees did not know about the rule and didn't tell me about it at check in. You didn't not try to identify me with the documents I signed at the reception (my license plate and my name was on the parking and room form that I signed at check in). You or the reception didn't try to call or communicate with me to say that I had to move my bike. You didn't do any that. You took my bike without my permission and moved it elsewhere, twice, which is basically theft. And you were very aggressive when I caught you doing it, which was very strange. A very barbaric way to handle things. Please, manage better, manage kinder, manage smarter. INITIAL REVIEW: If you are a motorcyclist, don't go there. The motorcycle parking space is ridiculously small and they don't tell you that you have to park there instead of taking a normal parking space. The proprietor of the establishment moved my bike twice without asking me first and could've broked it. The people at the reception didn't even know about that rule, he made it on the spot that day. One friendly advice to the proprietor; DO NOT TOUCH SOMEONE'S BIKE. You were lucky that I'm a pacifist and don't tend to choose violence to solve problems. But, if you do that again with a different person, chances are that you will need a straw to eat your next meal. I could've sued you for theft (check the canadian criminal code, just for fun), but I won't. I don't want to waste my precious time and resources on such an awful person. As for the rooms, they were not very clean, there's a smell of mold and humidity in the air. The floor and the toilet was dirty. The AC makes a horrible noise and hasn't been cleaned in years. Stay away. Go somewhere else.
