Tried to pay for a new swimsuit here - as I was staying at a hotel just around the corner - when I was stopped at my tracks by a flagrantly rude service by Taylor - maybe he was having a bad day. I reached out to the owner who promptly apologized for the poor service but did nothing more to bring me back to the store.
Just had the absolute best shopping experience at Top Drawers in Vancouver thanks to Joseph! Hands-down the most helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind person I’ve ever dealt with in retail. I walked in feeling a bit overwhelmed trying to refresh my entire underwear and loungewear drawer, and Joseph instantly put me at ease. He listened carefully, asked the right questions, and within minutes had pulled together a perfect selection (great brands, flawless fits, and styles I didn’t even know I needed). Zero judgment, total patience, and he clearly knows the inventory inside-out. He even took the time to explain fabric differences and care tips without ever making it feel like a sales pitch. It’s rare to leave a store feeling this taken care of and actually excited about the purchases.
