Sundial Hotel

Customer service is fantastic but whoever is doing the maintenance and repairs of the electrical and plumbing in the units really need to evaluate if they do good work or not. Taps shouldn't be moving tippets shouldn't be moving couches shouldn't have tears in them . It's a 90$ a night room from what involved .

The room we stayed in for overnight has an overlooking windows. The cloud covered mountains are a sight to behold afterthe sun came up. The sheets in our room are crisp clean and smelling great.

Has lost its value over years . Not very impressed this time .

Really amazing hotel highly recommend everything was perfect staff were amazing and really helpfull giving us lots of information and good places to visit we had a lovely greeting as we arrived and a lovely goodbye we were served by Ashby who was amazing and really helpful hight recommend.

Great location close to the village stroll, the gondolas to take you up the mountain, grocery store, so many restaurants you can't even count them all, very nice staff, especially Ashby and Brandon, excellent hot tub on the roof. Discounts given to returning guests. My only complaint is that the carpet in the elevators were gross, old, dirty and stained. I mentioned it to a few staff and was told it's difficult because of the winter season, skis, etc. I still think they could do better. Other than that small thing, rest of the place is very clean, my stay was enjoyable which is why I still gave it 5 stars. We went in May, which technically is the off season, however now is the time for mountain biking, saw tons of them.

I was disappointed with my experience at Sundial Hotel. Our family stayed here to celebrate my son’s 4th birthday. After checkout, the hotel charged me $150 plus tax for a small candy stain on the carpet. The photo provided showed only a small spot, yet I was charged a significant cleaning fee. Families travelling with children should be aware that if food or candy accidentally falls on the carpet and cannot be removed to the hotel’s satisfaction, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee after your stay. While I understand that hotels need to maintain their rooms, I felt the amount charged was excessive considering the size of the stain shown in the hotel’s own photo. The experience left a disappointing end to what was supposed to be a special family trip. I encourage future guests, especially those travelling with children, to carefully review the hotel’s policies regarding cleaning and damage charges before booking.
