Stonecroft Inn

I don’t normally write about hotels but this one was really beautiful. I totally recommend this hotel if you’re in Windsor The room was large and very clean and the breakfast was really good

On a cross country motorcycle trip with friends and we stayed here our 2nd night. Mary was at the desk and made our check in super easy. She was wonderful in explaining everything. Rooms and service were phenomenal. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location - close to lots of places, friendly & helpful staff, & clean room. Way better than a hotel that we paid $400/night. Thank you & keep up the good work staff.

We grew up in Windsor but never needed a hotel (of course). This is now our destination when we return to visit. The Stonecroft is top shelf. Modern and nicely appointed rooms, great staff and convenient central location. Great value!

This place is awesome—much better than some of the higher-end properties I’ve stayed at in the past. The lady at check-in was phenomenal and clearly takes pride in both her role and the property. If you ever need a hotel in Windsor, stay here. There’s tons of free parking, the rooms are updated, and most importantly, everything is clean. The free breakfast is fairly basic, but it’s included in the price—if that’s not your thing, there’s always Tim Hortons nearby. I will definitely stay here again in the future

The hotel is very good, it stands out for its excellent service. Special mention goes to Tyler, who undoubtedly provides exceptional service and made our stay memorable.

Friendly staff, professional and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Parking was free.

Clean, quiet even over a long weekend holiday and reasonably comfortable. Sound insulation between rooms seemed better than typical for this price point and guests seemed to lean more to the ‘mature’ side. OK, no pool (probably for the better), no elevator (it’s only 2 floors) and the free breakfast was only cold items (but there was a microwave). All very low priority factors for me when picking a hotel/motel. Front desk staff were consistently friendly and were able to help with extending the stay over said long weekend even though they were officially fully booked. I never had interaction with housekeeping, which was perfect! IOW the privacy placard on the door was respected and no one ever knocked early in the morning, let alone ever, just to ‘check in’ on us. It’s overall not 5-star “Ritz” but as good or better than anything nearby in this price range, including the competition across the street, where I have stayed numerous times when Stonecroft was full. Don’t be discouraged because they’re not a chain hotel. They’re better!

Used to speak very highly of this location until our last visit when they charged us extra stating we left the room in a mess. Absolute joke considering we made sure we left the room tidy and organized after our visit. Also tried accusing us of stealing a bible that was never in the room to begin with. Not to mention waking up to room service coming into our room at 9am our day of checking out when check out is 11am and the door knob clearly stated DO NOT DISTURB. Never again. Do yourself a favour and stay at the Comfort Inn instead.
