Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel

Although this trip we didn't stay, I have been there before, (a few weddings, a few gigs, and during warped tour and skate and surf) and it's a weird place. I am impressed with the latest upgrades and rightfully so, they have some major competition in the area. We were there for the punk rock flea market. And not overly large, it was a cool vibe. The whole right side of the lobby is set up very rock and roll, with interingvwaal coverings, fake grass and a steampunk inspired ballroom. That where the band was playing. Again, nicely updated, might try to book a room sometime in the future to see what they are like, again.

Expensive but basic hotel. Up-changed $25 per day "resort fee" not sure for what. $50 parking per night. Minimal room amenities. Lackluster service. Good location, but you might want to try somewhere else.

Need some work on hospitality and the refurbishment. Drapes had holes on the sunblocking back. Made for an interesting sunrise. Vents in room were pretty dirty on the inside. Staff didn't seem to want to hold our bags for an hr until check in. No room for the bags or something ? This was after the valet said they could hold the bags. I throw the guy a good tip, and all of a sudden my new best friend. Guess I didn't look wealthy. We were an hr early and told the room was ready. Awesome! Then told it would be 200 we could check in early.

While the location is convenient and within walking distance of the beach, I would like to bring a few issues to your attention regarding my stay. The beds are quite old and uncomfortable, which has caused me significant back pain. Additionally, I noticed that the rooms are not being cleaned on a daily basis. I hope you can address these concerns to improve the quality of the stay.

Got a single bed room for the night. The room was really nice, bed was comfortable and I believe a king. We had a great view of the town. Only thing I can say is the bathroom was a bit awkward with the faucet for the sink being really weird and not having enough space between the sink and faucet.

Everything was nice but the vuraleaf event it self was just okay
