Hotel Focus SFO

Hotel Focus SFO is an affordable and convenient hotel located just minutes from San Francisco International Airport. The staff is friendly, helpful, and provides a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. For those using public transportation, SamTrans Routes 292 and 130/130B offer easy access to shopping, dining, and other attractions throughout the area, making this a great choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The parking lot is paid, you can hear the planes taking off, there's no normal lighting in the rooms, the windows are old, and finally, the hotel and its surroundings are very lifeless.

The reviews and photos on this property are NOT ACCURATE OR RECENT. the rooms were somewhat grimy to be honest. Chips in paint, tub/shower. etc. Spiders in the tub. Hair on floor. Hallway definitely had smoke smell. But the icing in the cake: ac in room was broken and the receptionist offered no help or anything. Since I booked through Expedia I was able to cancel, refund and move down the road to a MUCH nicer hotel the same night for literally the same price.

It's perfectly fine for a night. Close enough to airport, a couple of food options within walking distance. Just know that breakfast doesn't open until 6:00 and the shuttle doesn't start until 5: 10 so if you have an early flight, you might not get to use those.

Close to the airport, which is what we needed, arriving at midnight. But this was an unfortunate experience. The website looks nothing like the lobby or the rooms. We were grateful for a little free bite in the morning, but the beds were oddly small and quite uncomfortable, the room, very tight and the overall feeling, pretty unpleasant. On the way out of town, we stayed at the nearby Coutyard Marriot for a slightly higher price and no free breakfast and we would still definitely choose that again.

I wouldn't recommend! I am not sure how they have a 7.6 rating. Not updated seems like an old hotel. Nothing like the pictures! Rooms small, bathroom small and to top if off no refrigerator in the room! Front desk rude! I will never ever come back!
