The Normandy Inn

Excellent location, three blocks from the beach. Parking is scarce; you almost always have to park on the street. The staff is very friendly. The "continental" breakfast is an insult; to say it's terrible is being generous. The three stars I gave it are mainly because of the breakfast.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable bedding and ideal location. Good value for money. However, it was a bit noisy, and the room was poorly soundproofed. The breakfast was very average with limited space.

Pros: near the beach. Only person working when we checked in was nice. There’s a continental breakfast. Cons: the refrigerators aren’t automatically plugged in, so we lost some expensive treats not realizing. There’s an employee at the continental breakfast with a tip jar…even tho it’s almost entirely prepackaged food you just grab for yourself. Walls were very thin and our neighbors were fighting.

We spent a night here. It’s a cute town. Room is super clean. There is breakfast included, but nothing special about it. There is a lady greeting you at breakfast room but I just don’t feel comfortable someone watching every move you do. In a nice way, she’s trying to help but not good idea for me. Beside that everything perfect 👍

Excellent location

I cannot recommend this hotel based on my recent experience. The management demonstrated unprofessional behavior when I requested a brief extension to complete a business call, despite being a guest for two consecutive nights. The manager, Cicile, became confrontational and threatened to cancel my second night’s reservation simply because I remained in the room until 11:20 AM—just twenty minutes past checkout. The situation escalated inappropriately when she threatened to call the police, which was both shocking and completely unwarranted. When I gathered my belongings and went to the front desk minutes later, she claimed I had slammed a door in her face, which is entirely false—I actually observed her walking away from my room. This level of hostility and unprofessionalism from hotel management is unacceptable. No guest should have to endure such treatment, especially over a minor timing issue that could have been resolved with basic courtesy and understanding. I strongly advise booking elsewhere to avoid similar treatment. There are many other accommodations that will treat you with the respect and professionalism you deserve.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The location is perfect – safe, quiet, and within walking distance to great dining and shopping options. I also really appreciated how easy parking was. What truly stood out was the atmosphere – relaxing, elegant, and inviting. It felt like a perfect mix of comfort and style, and I left feeling completely refreshed. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay.
