Hardman House Hotel

Room was disgusting. Black curly hair all over the comforters on both beds. Smashed bugs on the walls, and vents clogged with dirt and grime like they havent been cleaned in months. Showers are in rough shape where flanges arent attached with visible holes that should be sealed to prevent mold. Called the front desk to get a different room and they never called back. Went to the front desk and listened to a family in the front complaining of having blood in their beds. Pregnant couple behind them had mold in their room and couldnt afford another room without a refund which they never got. The guy behind the counter would not give any of us contact info for the owner, who they said is Taj, and they wouldnt refund any of our money either. Could write a complaint and send an email to Taj thats it. Guy behind the counter was getting mad at everyone like its the customers fault that there are health hazards in multiple rooms that should never be rented out in those conditions. Very disgusting place. We left and stayed at Gold Dust. Had to pay for 2 rooms that night but worth it for not catching something. That place needs to be shut down and cleaned up before renting again. Guy behind the counter was confrontational to the multiple families trying to leave due to health hazards in their rooms. Not sure how this is legal. Hopefully someone gets a legal team involved soon. I highly recommend staying somewhere else. Not even as a last resort should anyone ever stay there until they get the place fixed up, hire better staff, and people who will actually clean the rooms instead of remake the beds with hair, blood, etc for the next person to sleep in. Would rate 0/5 if possible.

The rooms are very old, dirty, and the carpets are disgusting 🤮, I definitely don't recommend it.

Air conditioning isn’t available until someone decides it’s hot enough to flip the HVAC switch from furnace to air conditioning. Apparently 90 degree rooms aren’t hot enough to base that changeover upon. There are torn carpets in the hallways, tacked down with nails that have pulled up to create hazards. The attendant on duty (April 6, 9:30 pm) showed no interest in helping, deferring to a manager who won’t be available until the afternoon of the second day of the reservation. The location is great; most anything else about this inn makes me caution others to steer clear.

The place is nice but the service leaves something to be desired.

Austin said he was busy and took my number to call back for a reservation request. He never called me back. I called through the night and there was no answer at the hotel? I'll take my business elsewhere.

We booked a room for 4 people and we arrived at 6pm. The check in time is 3pm. While trying to check into our room, the front desk tells us that their housekeeper wasn’t there yet and he would be there in 30 minutes. When we got back 45 minutes later he tells us that the housekeeper still hasn’t arrived and that he would be coming in an additional hour and a half. After asking for a different room, they could not accommodate because the door to the room wasn’t working. After asking for a discount for the wait he told us that his boss could call us next week but until then we had to pay full price. Don’t bother reserving a room here.

Rooms could use a few improvements as they look rather old. But the customer service was great and I loved the free wine and cookies

Great place to stay, I recommend it! Friendly guest service from Charity, David, Austin and Francisco! Cozy and clean place.

We rented two rooms here; one for my wife and I and the other for our daughters. The staff was polite, and the lobby set up well enough. However, "tired" does not begin to explain or excuse this place. Our room had a bed that literally creaked and groaned (the loud metallic squealing kind) with EVERY little move. The carpet and paint were shot, the walls were so thin at one point we literally thought the guy next door was int he room with us. The ceiling was water stained, and the panels held up with tape in several locations. Our girls room was a bit better, but this is the worst dive I have stayed in in my adult life (and that is saying something).
