Food at this location was awful. Coffee was the worst you can tell it was old and wasn’t prepared correctly. I will not come back to this location.

Came in with my boys they sat us immediately but waiter didn’t come until 15 minutes later to take our drink order but the tables around us that sat after us got VIP status won’t be coming back to this place was my second time here. I always go to Lake Highland’s cafe that are way better than here but I didn’t feel like making the drive but regretted it to the maximum.

Pancakes were great!!

First time trying this location. Had thoroughly enjoyed the downtown location in the past. Eerily quiet on a Saturday, which is not a good sign. Service was friendly. My pancakes, however, were underdone. Portions seemed smaller than I remember.

Stopped in for breakfast and ordered the Eggs Benedict, which was $17. With tax and tip the total came to $22.40. Unfortunately, the dish itself didn’t really feel worth the price. That said, the wait staff was attentive and service was good, which I appreciated. If the food quality matched the level of service, the experience would have been much better.

We tried Ellen’s for the first today. The food was fine. Nothing to write home about, but definitely not bad. Atmosphere was nice, but the back room was very loud (conversation was difficult). Unfortunately, the service was a different story. My order came out with a minor mistake; toast instead of a biscuit. No biggie. I let the server know, and a biscuit promptly arrived. When the checks came, someone else at our table was charged for my biscuit. When the server returned, I explained that they were charged for my item, but I had asked for that instead of the toast, so it just needs to be removed altogether. She looked at my dead faced and said “but, did you eat the toast”, to which I said “yes” (I actually let someone else at my table eat it), “you ended up with two sides, so you need to be charged for the biscuit”. I asked her if someone was supposed to have come to remove the toast off my plate, which she said “yes”. I told her that’s not on me for it not happening, and then we just stared at each other. She took it off. I also never got a single coffee refill. Being a large party, she still got her automaticity added gratuity. I’ve had places mess up on sides before, but never had any restaurant claimed they need to charge me for the corrected side! Probably our last visit.

Ellen's was super great. Our server Isaac or Isaiah was very nice. I requested whipping cream for my coffee and he brought my coffee out with whip and I loved it. Breakfast was delicious. Hubbub and I shared. This was right before we went to the Arboretum to enjoy the Tulips.
