The Center on Colfax

The Center on Colfax is Colorado's largest LGBTQ+ community center, run by the nonprofit behind glbtcolorado.org, at 1301 East Colfax Avenue in Capitol Hill. It offers support services, peer and social groups, youth and older-adult programs, and community events, and it serves as a meeting point for local organizations. Posted hours are 9am to 9pm on weekdays and 10am to 5pm on Saturday, closed Sunday. Many groups meet in the evenings, so check the online calendar before you drop in. Capitol Hill is Denver's historic gay neighbourhood, and several of the city's LGBTQ+ bars are a short walk or bus ride along Colfax.
