This was the perfect place for our mini honeymoon! It was away from town and it made the stay worth it! The views WERE incredible! The hot tub was amazing and I really loved how our host had chocolates for us and snacks! It was the perfect place for a mini honeymoon! We will for sure be returning!

The view is gorgeous but the hosts are terrible. Rebecca damaged the unit and accused us of stealing towels AFTER we checked out. There was a mishap where a friend stopped by with her dogs but the dogs DID NOT damage the unit. They did walk through the inside so that they could be on the back porch while we figured out what our plans were. They were outside the entire time excluding the few seconds to walk to the porch and then back to the car. They were cleaned up after when they went to the bathroom outside. I wasn't aware that my friend would even have her dogs but it was a holiday so she was nervous to leave them home in fears that they may get spooked by the commotion outside at their house. I completely understand and accept that having the dogs on site was an error on our part but the hosts scolded us without any opportunity to discuss or correct. Rebecca called me screaming, if spit could come through the phone it would have; She said the dogs needed to go (amongst other not so nice things) which again I completely understood and we immediately left for dinner. The dogs and my friend never returned. Rebecca stared at us from the window as we left. It was so uncomfortable. The following morning was our check out and Rebecca circled the property on a golf cart until we left. I assumed everything was fine because we complied during her initial call the night before. I put all of the dirty towels in the tub as the rules stated and left all of the trash bagged in the kitchen as the rules stated. I even made the bed before we left. I was enjoying lunch, for my birthday I might add, when I recieved a charge for damages to the unit. Rebecca broke the blinds after we left, I KID YOU NOT! I am certain that they were fine because I peeped through them when Rebecca was circling the unit to see what was going on. She then said that the room was trashed and that we stole towels. I attempted to contact Connie who is the main host and who we already had rapport with from our previous trip. Instead of Connie reaching out to me I received another rude call from Rebecca who continued to speak down to me (screaming) and refused to show me the photo evidence that she claimed to have. We LOVED this spot and enjoyed Connie during our first stay but I have NEVER had an experience like this before. I will now video record the state of the room when I arrive and leave anywhere I go because of this experience. I actually have two reviews from Connie on AirBNB, one saying how great we were and another saying we broke house rules and damaged the unit. I still have yet to speak with Connie. She has only commented on my AirBNB review, which I made sure was kind (I messaged them directly with my concerns to avoid publicly voicing what I thought was a one off situation). Connie's reply to the review said that the carpets had to be steamed because of all the (nonexistent) dog hair, that lots of time had to be spent deep cleaning the unit, and that extra measures had to be made to the porch. I'm completely blown away by this situation and experience that I feel it must be shared.

These places make the batcave look like an abandoned food truck. I'm talking jacuzzi tub, mini fridge, balcony, smart tv, sunrise views, gazebo, fire pit. We had the IMMENSE pleasure of meeting Rebecca as soon as we arrived and she filled us in on her favorite spots, including the incredible Golden Gate of the Ozarks: a picturesque wooden suspension bridge going over a pristine river. Do yourself a favor and BOOK NOW
