Disappointing. I booked through Booking.com and it's nothing like the description and photos on the site. There are no cottages, cabins, sauna, kitchen, or common living area. The room has very old furniture. The extra heating didn't work, and it was -35 degrees Celsius outside. There's no human contact with the owners, and there's no staff. They just send you a code for an electronic lock. It didn't work for us, and we were left freezing (I was traveling with my daughter) outside in -25 degrees Celsius and darkness. Nobody answered the phone. We were only able to get in thanks to other guests. The only good thing is that there's a refrigerator and microwave in the room. But it's desolate.

The area is quiet, and the building is close to downtown. There's a microwave, a refrigerator, and a filter coffee maker, but there's no cutlery, glasses, or microwaveable cups or plates. We stocked up on supplies at the supermarket, and in the end, our stay was fine. The owners' kindness and helpfulness are exceptional! Highly recommended!

First off: I have to say that if you plan on staying here in July check the weather and temperature gage because the rooms do not come equipped with COLD AC of any kind. Only a ceiling fan and a look alike Dyson floor fan that barely blows any air even on High, like in Hi goodbye...LOL Good location from Fairbanks Airport. Just 10 mins away. The accommodations were actually quite cozy but without the Air Conditioning aspect it sort of lost its appeal, at least for me. This is because for day one it was humid. During this time you have 24 hour daylight which means radiant heat all day. Temperatures here can range from 85 degrees to 60 degrees so check the weather before booking. On top of the no AC reality there was also a forest fire somewhere and that smoke smell was everywhere in Fairbanks, including our room. So now sleeping was a bit uncomfortable with the windows open. **Room amenities: There is a Microwave, Keurig Coffee Maker and Mini Refrigerator that all appear to be Very Nice. There is also a large closet and your own vehicle parking spot. WiFi is very STRONG w/Good connection speeds. Room comes with a large TV but because of WiFi and the cellphone we didn't use it. Bathroom came with towels, tolid paper rolls, sink hand soap and shower shampoo including a body wash, thank you👍. Nice adjustable Hot and Cold water with very good water pressure. Something majority of expensive hotels do not offer with their save water and pressure shower heads. If it was the month of June instead of July, the Fall or even Winter then like a "NO BRAINER" this place would be a nice stay for any couple including a child. *I didn't see anything for pet accommodations which for me was a *Plus*. Pets and people should be separate especially when sharing the same bed right? Don't say this to pet owners they will tell you your cruel🤣. Enter your room with a prior programmed 4 digit pass code that you set up with reservations upon booking for both the front door of the building and your room door. *No prior key pick up or front desk to check in. Just a good memory of your 4 numbers. Remember to turn the inside bolt lock on the front door after entering the main hallway of the building and the same with your apartment front door to lock the doors. *Places to eat There is a Costco Wholesale, Savers supermarket where one could bring groceries back to The Adamina and store in the mini refrigerator and other restaurants to eat. At Savers expect a sticker shock. The prices are High. **Conclusions: Other than the uncomfortable forest fire smoke that filled the air which has nothing to do with this establishment. I do think this place could actually be a good option for someone looking for comfort, privacy, and more bang for the buck which was under $200 a night stay next to the other more EXPENSIVE HOTELS out here. Book early this place is always full. And if you get a reservation Thank the Guru for setting you straight. The Review Guru* Long Island NY🙋
