Cosa dicono i recensori

Visitors consistently praise the Julian Price House for its stunning beauty, historic charm, and thoughtful decoration, creating a memorable and elegant experience. However, a significant complaint is the strict 4-6pm check-in window, with some guests reporting being denied entry and refunds for arriving even slightly after the cutoff.

What a special stay! We had the best time at Julian Price House. First of all, its absolutely stunning. Tastefully decorated and attention was given to small details. It was clean and welcoming. The check in was effortless and communication was easy. We stayed in the Attic Room. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The tub 😍. There were coffees, teas, snacks, high quality yogurt, drinks and a fully stocked kitchen. From plates and napkins to spices. I really appreciated the bar that had all the appropriate glasses for every drink possible. The communal area was so comfortable and well decorated. I didn't want to leave. I wanted to relax in every room they had. The bird houses- gorgeous! The butcher's block in the kitchen- stunning! There is a playground for the kids and lush green grass to play on. Also a beautiful walking park across from the house. They had some of the history of the house and how it was on HOARDERS. We then watched the episode when the kids were asleep. What a HUGE job and massively successful one. Wish we stayed longer. Thank you for having us

My husband and I absolutely loved our visit here. The owners had jazz music playing upon our arrival which was a nice touch and really set the mood for the evening. The mansion is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, I absolutely loved tracing the hallways and learning more about its history. We enjoyed spending the evening in the living room getting to know the other guests over champagne. There are toiletries in the bathrooms, candies/pastries, coffee/tea, and a little continental breakfast in the morning. Walking distance to many fun bars/restaurants downtown. The owners are fun, amazing people - 10/10! If you have a spare weekend, spend it here.

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS OMG and i really wish that hotels and newer buildings would bring back the magical experience of old timey-er homes such as this one. the entire home had such character and class it was a phenomenal place to spend the night at.

Wow what a lovely experience. Upon arriving in Greensboro North Carolina my partner and I were pleasantly pleased to find we had the property , Julian price house for the next 24 hours by ourselves. The entire property was absolutely magnificent and would suggest anybody coming in from out of town stay there a night or two you don't need to stay in a hotel this place is absolutely beautiful. And if you like you can also pick up food and cook in one of the two kitchens that they have which I did . Thank you again for a lovely stay and hope to be back soon!

Firstly, I want to acknowledge that the Julian Price House is absolutely beautiful. The historic charm, well-maintained landscaping, and thoughtfully decorated interior create an impressive first impression. The architecture is stunning and the property has incredible potential for a memorable stay. Unfortunately, the beauty of the home was overshadowed by a disappointing and frustrating guest experience. I booked directly through their official website — which I now regret. There were undisclosed credit card surcharges and hidden fees that weren’t clearly stated during the booking process. The original confirmation email did not mention a credit card surcharge, and yet I was later charged additional fees after the stay, with no prior explanation or consent. Check-in was another major issue. The confirmation stated I would receive a text with instructions on the day of arrival. That message never came. I arrived within the stated check-in window, called five times, and got no response. I was left standing in the driveway for over 30 minutes. I eventually spoke to a landscaper on-site, who kindly tried to help, and finally received a call back from Michael — who claimed they had the wrong number (no apology offered). Only then did I receive the long-overdue check-in instructions. Later, I saw that the suite was listed for only about $75 more on Airbnb. I reached out to ask if I could upgrade and pay the difference. Michael quoted me $155 with tax, but never confirmed whether they would honor the Airbnb price. Again, communication was poor and unclear — and when the final charges came in, they did not match what was promised. To add to the disappointment, the listing mentions a continental breakfast, which was misleading. What we found was cereal, candy, and a few random drinks — including expired orange juice. In summary: Beautiful property with amazing potential Booking directly came with undisclosed fees and surcharges Terrible communication before and during the stay Misleading listing about breakfast Post-stay charges that didn’t match what was communicated It honestly feels like the hosts are checked out and ready to sell the property. There’s a serious lack of attentiveness and care toward guests. I highly recommend booking through Airbnb instead — at least their pricing is transparent and you have a platform to mediate issues. Disappointing experience. Proceed with caution.

Simply stunning. Not many opportunities to stay in a house this grand and be able to fully enjoy all the common areas.

It’s this is the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. Staff was awesome. Food was great and the house is historic and beautiful.
