Delta Hotels Huntington Downtown

Our son graduated from Marshall University in May, we stayed at the Delta Hotel which was very near the venue. Our family had the Delta staff cater lunch for 25 people in the meeting room. The room was very nicely set up, the food was delicious, and the service was on point. Our server Sherma and chef Val both did an excellent job!

This Delta hotel has become the Sprit airline of hotels in Huntington WV. At $400 per night we expected a better experience. The hotel was sold out for Marshall University graduation across the street Saturday morning . Almost everyone in this hotel had to be up and at graduation by 8. When we checked in at 3 and went to our room, we immediately knew the room was not for us based on the party next-door. 5 big girls in one room - i went to the front desk asked for a different room. No, they couldn’t move us. No, they couldn’t do anything about the noise, quiet time doesn’t start until 10, I said lady I’m not worried about them making noise at 10. I’m worried about them coming in drunk at 2 and waking us up. That’s exactly what happened, first crazy laughing , the boom box, slammed the door 27 times and then finally the fist fight before security showed up. Great location , not worth $400 per night

Excellent place to stay and awesome service and staff

I really do enjoy staying at this Delta hotel. Since the remodel this property has really blossoming 🌸. The rooms are Very Clean, Nice Bar and the food is surprisingly Very Very Good. Tia was my morning bartender who offered great conversation and advice to choose the Shrimp 🍤 and Grits. The choice was absolutely amazing 👏 🤩 Thank you Tia !!!

Great hotel for the most part, small fridges, and $13 for the breakfast buffet. Very clean! Our housekeeping guy Mr A. Underwood went above and beyond. Thank you

I stayed at the Delta Huntington Downtown for 2 nights. The room was spacious, the staff was friendly, and the hotel was in a great location with access to shops and restaurants. On the first night of my stay, I decided to have a drink at the hotel bar. After an uncomfortable interaction with another guest, the bartender, Shom stepped in right away and had the guest removed. She was very apologetic and I appreciated her making me feel comfortable and safe. I will absolutely book this hotel again on my next visit to the tri-state area.

The beds were hard as bricks. There were kids screaming and running up and down the halls well after midnight.

Absolutely horrific experience do not stay , I repeat do not stay. Worst people I have ever dealt with in my career as a travelling doctor. I checked in at 11 pm and was told there were no rooms left , I had just finished a 20 hr shift at the hospital and was very tired. I had to book a room at a nearby hotel for $400 and my booking at the delta was for only $289. I am to be covered by Marriott’s Walk policy and GM Macy rudely and unempathetically told me I would not have any compensation 0 ! How do you treat your guests like this , one of the worst people I have ever spoken to. Do not go run far away I urge you. I am escalating this to the highest of levels and writing to district manager of Marriott , you can’t do this to people.
